Had this PC for 25 days and it started acting up. Final straw was lines in the monitor. Returned it to Best Buy where they checked it out and declared it faulty. I replaced it with an ASUS.

the laptop is probably ok but I'm not dazzled with the set up. The email (outlook) is set to IMAP and I would much prefer Pop 3. Customer service does not seem interested in helping. I have purchased Geek Squad service

For a person who needs all the basic things in a laptop, this one is a great value with a good amount of memory.

I've had to contact Geek Squad a few times to correct issues with the laptop, but otherwise works okay.

You have a lot of great employees, but management (ANDRE) is something to be desired!!!! Will talk with someone--to long to write here.

Bought this laptop for my father who uses a computer mainly for internet browsing and this laptop couldn't even do that well.

This is a very nice Lenovo laptop. Big monitor but light.

I bought the Lenovo G51 a month ago to replace my previous Toshiba laptop, which I owned for about five years. Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised with most of the features of this Lenovo machine, and I hope this machine lasts just as long as my prior Toshiba. Pros: * Great graphics for what I do, that is mostly Java and VB client and server development. Good enough visuals for DVD movies too. * Easy Windows 10 setup, even though I'm not a fan of Windows 10. I installed Oracle Virtual Box and virtualized Windows 7 (my favorite Windows OS) and Debian Linux (my favorite Linux OS). * Good enough RAM to multitask such as running multiple OS's. * Great hard drive storage for the price of this machine. * Best speakers on a laptop I've owned so far. * Lightweight for carrying around. Cons: * Feels like cheaper plastics than my previous Toshiba. The outer case and keyboard are okay plastics at best. * The A-8 AMD processor feels slower than my previous Toshiba AMD processor. The speed slowness is not unbearable, but it is noticeable. * Battery life is not as good as my previous Toshiba. Sleep mode on this Lenovo seems to draw a lot of power from this machine. I have to watch the battery power when I get in an out of sleep, while working away from an outlet.

My original laptop died the other day and I had to get a new laptop. This Lenova G51 was the exact ticket I was looking for in terms of speed, power and price. It surely out-runs my other (dead) 6 yr old laptop by a mile. I am very pleased with the speed of this new laptop. This thing comes with 8gb DDR3L ram as 1-stick and can be upgraded to 16 gb with another 1-stick of 8gb ram. Everything on it was simple and streamline to get up & running. Time will tell as to how well it is built, but so far no issues at all. Windows 10 needed to be tweaked for optimal performance as it is hungry for power and to run a load of junk in the background. For the $299 price of this laptop, it is a steal!!!!!!

Received as a Christmas Gift and had to return because it wouldn't charge

Poor wifi very slow find something better. I returned it right away
