I really wanted it to work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First one I ordered worked for 3 days, then the left side of the screen wasn't responding to touch in certain spots so I returned it. Second one, the screen works well but there was no sound. Volume was on and audio was detected but no sound from speakers or audio jack. Also the mouse that it came with did not work. The left and right mouse button acts like right mouse; works fine with another USB mouse attached. I gave up, I really wanted it to work. Minor pet peeve: I hate Lenovo keyboard with the Fn key on the bottom left instead of the Ctrl key. Matte screen, it's good that I don't see finger prints and glare, but colors are not as vibrant and bright (a little dull looking). On the heavy side. Currently there's no cart that fit it, found that out when I bought the old display cart for it.

Poor product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 2 MacBook Pros for my business, but the industry I'm in requires that I be able to work with Windows. I run Parallels on my MacBook Pros and am very pleased, but wanted a Windows desktop for some functions that I did not want to install on my MacBooks. At the recommendation of a Best Buy employee, I purchased this Lenova. What a huge disappointment. The machine had a virus when we purchased it. We had to contact Lenova and purchased the monthly subscription offered by Lenova to keep the machine up and running whenever we call for them to conduct a diagnostics and clean-up of the machine (which is seldom used). (We have McAfee installed, also.) Dragon stops working at least every other day; touch screen hasn't worked since about the third week we had the machine and only works periodically after spending several minutes working on the machine. Recently, we tried to backup an iPhone to iTunes and it wouldn't work. Neither Apple nor Lenova was any help, iTunes runs fine, but after spending several hours, the backup would never work (which was ultimately accomplished with no problem on a much slower, older HP desktop). Lenova suggested we uninstall McAfee. They suggested we uninstall iTunes (which we did and no change). Lenova had no idea what to do. As a previous reviewer commented, this is a $1600 paperweight. Actually, it's cost us more - we replaced the keyboard with a better quality backlit keyboard and mouse. I have easily invested $2,000 for a desktop that is nothing but a 1TB storage for iTunes. It's an unreliable system and I have used it only a few times, when absolutely necessary for Windows programs. I would have been much better off purchasing an iMac and installing Parallels for the Windows programs.

Returned to store
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right side of touch screen did not work. Customer service was more interested in my email, phone number etc and after 15 min on phone did not seem concerned about what I was calling about. Had to return to store. Nice display and great screen size. Sadly didn't work for me.

Touchscreen not working right out of the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this yesterday, got it home, booted it up, and found that the touchscreen doesn't work. Tried installing Windows updates, rebooting, running the touchscreen calibration tool. Nothing brings the touchscreen to life. Guess I'll be return the defective machine for a replacement. How such a major failure escapes Lenovo quality control is beyond me--it suggests they don't test units at all before they ship them.

Broken right out of the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched this thing for hours and knew all about it, even more than the Best Buy guy. Open it up after driving to get it from the other side of town and the screen is just a mess. Lines all through it, jumping everywhere, and the colors all muted. All the quality issues are apparently true...be very careful if you decide to purchase this device.
