Oddly missing some important things like compass. Lenovo cam loaded with junk soffware & games I didn't want took a bit to get a clean install.

If you're in the same boat as me, looking to replace an older tablet, then definitely give this Lenovo Idea Tab Plus a shot. My current/old tablet (Tab S7 Plus) is going on 5 years old. Still working but software is outdated. My mom has an even older Lenovo tablet, 8 years old, so I started looking into that brand. If a much cheaper tablet can last that long and still work decently, I'm all for it. I wanted something in the 12 inch range as I feel it's the perfect size for a tablet. This screen isn't amoled but it's still looks very nice. The colors and blacks aren't as rich but I have barely noticed a difference in my testing. The refresh rate is mid-range but handles almost everything well. There was some stuttering a couple times but not bad at all. Having current software (and future upgrades available) again is a necessity in this day and age. Things work well together again. The Lenovo skin on Android is similar to Samsung and easy to figure out. The battery life on this Lenovo tab is amazing. I use my tablet mainly every morning for 2-3 hours, and I got 6 days of use before I had to charge it. My old tablet I had to charge every 3 days. And it charges back up in under 2 hours. If you use a pd/pps charging brick, it charges at 35 watts so have or get one that is 45 watts or more. The camera is fine, it takes pictures. I rarely use a tablet to take pictures anyway, stick with the phone camera. The speakers are also quite impressive. Nice loud and clear audio. They even manage to produce some bass! Having 2 on each side makes the sound quite immersive. This tablet is so new it can be difficult to find a case for it but I tried a universal 11.5 inch case and it fits perfect. (It blocks the camera but is easy enough to pop off) I'm very impressed with this quality of tablet at this low price point.

This is a great basic tablet from Lenovo. I’ve done a cheaper laptop before thinking I didn’t need much and just wanted a bigger screen than my phone, but the difference in better hardware of this tablet is really worth it. Out of the box you can already tell its well built, however just like almost every phone now days, you really need a case. If for no other reason than the camera on the back makes it not lay quite right without one when you set it down. I do feel like both phone and tablet makers have just assumed you’ll get a case so don’t even try to make it very functional without one. Startup was smooth and easy. Downloading my apps went fine. If you have an android phone, most apps will even work seamlessly between devices. You will have to use face recognition, pin or password rather than a fingerprint if that’s what you’re used to with your phone and this is your first tablet. Its really not a big deal, but may take getting used to for some people, especially if you try to put any banking or other apps on it that want to rely on your fingerprint. If you use messenger or another app other than a manufacturer texting app on your phone you can even link up your txt messages so the only thing you can’t do with your tablet that you can with your phone is make a call. But if you use video calls more than actual phone calls, then you can probably get away with leaving your phone somewhere else altogether while you have your tablet. At 12.1 inches, the screen is obviously better for watching videos and doom-scrolling and is fantastic for handing to my kids in the car on a longer trip. The bigger memory (both hd and ram) for a better than the most basic tablet is really worth it. The startup time, the loading of each new app, and switching between apps is so much faster. The actual apps also run so much smoother that you will regret getting a cutthroat deal on a really basic tablet and probably no use it much and just go back to your tablet. Really less than 8gb ram isn’t worth it and I would say that if you have an sd card you can use that less hd space is ok, but too low and your apps start having to install on your sd card. The stats for this tablet match a pixel 9a, so is right up there with a mid range phone and is about as low as I would suggest going when you’re talking about a tablet. Overall I think this is a great option for a nice big screen tablet that gives you a bit better viewing experience than a phone or a great non-phone option for a younger kid that may still need to be kept occupied on a long road trip.

Nice tablet for the sale price. Good screen resolution, lightweight, and user friendly. Great for my husband who uses it primarily to surf the web.

Got this for my fiancée and she’s been through the roof for it she legit loves it and bought a case for before I could all her games emails apps just on a bigger screen she enjoys it everyday and even uses it for her karaoke gigs on friday nights incase one of the laptops die lol it’s a seriously cool tablet

Great so far!! Follow the prompts and the setup is as easy as 1 2 3. Set the voice to your own style. You will enjoy much more than the one provided.

It seems very slow compared to other tablets I like the size but loading windows and other things just seems slower than the Samsung I have.
