This computer worked great, until it didn't.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer worked great until it didn’t and Lenovo support is a big disappointment. I bought my Ideacentre 300S in November 2015 and the power button malfunctioned only 2 months later ….I can count on less than one hand how many times I had pushed the power button up to that point since I usually would just put it to sleep. I called Lenovo support and was told I would be getting an email with my warranty service order # and details about when the repair would be made, but 2 weeks later – nothing. I called again and this time got a service order # and was told the part would have to be ordered and would take about a week to come in – 2 weeks later, nothing. I called again to get a status on my service order and was told the same thing that they still didn’t have the new part and cannot give me any ETA on when they will have it – that was another 2 weeks ago and still nothing. I’m still paying on this machine and it’s just sitting there staring at me with a broken power button. Good thing I didn’t get rid of my 9 year old Vista running Acer!

Worst Warranty EVER
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Computer won't turn on after 2.5 months of use and Lenovo keeps giving the run around on why it hasn't been fixed yet (been 14 days now) and their best answer is that they have no idea when they will have the parts to fix it - they have not even looked at it to know what parts they need! NEVER BUY A LENOVO PRODUCT

Posted .You might want to try to initiate OneKey Recovery with this system. Push the start button push the F2 button repeatedly and the system should launch in to the BIOS selection page. One of the selections is to restore to factory default. Make that selection.
