We have some old software that has to run on XP, so it is in a VM. This computer handles the VM without issue. I have to say that I give Lenovo props for the included keyboard and mouse. Their included keyboard and mouse are very nice and don't look or feel cheap. Great buy!

Although I also purchased an extended warranty, I needed to get my reports done and could not wait for a repair so I returned it. It may have been a glitch, not applicable to other desk tops in this product line. Best Buy issued me a gift card and I purchased another PC from a different manufacturer.

Saw that the product has good reviews but the product has not been used yet it was a Christmas gift so when the product is used hopefully I will be able to come back with a better review. The reason for me buying the computer I like all the specifications that the computer has. That influenced me to buy the computer along with the ratings so I hope the product lives up to the reviews.

Fast Lightweight Machine -but Shuts down by itself

Today I hooked the Lenovo up to the Internet. After about 10 minutes it shut down - all by itself, and would not restart . Period. After I pulled the wall plug for a few minutes, & plugged it back in, and it restarted. Then, after a few minutes, it died again: No Restart. I don't need a third time to know this one is defective. BTW.. this is actually a MICRO system housed in a mini-box, there are 2 SATA ports and 2 power ports, so, only two drives. Don't think in terms of expansion, First, because the power supply is *very* small, and won't support a lot of drives, and Second, because *NO ROOM* for more drives or cards the case itself is very small

Stopped Dead in My Tracks

When booting it up I was asked for a default user password which was not indicated in the instructions. Calls to Lenovo produced no results. Also talked with the Geek squad folks with no luck on finding a solution. After trying several "likely" passwords I was then locked out of the default user password process. Finally decided to get an HP from BestBuy. That product was fine with no issues. I took the Lenovo back and BestBuy processed a refund. Bottom line is I was and have been pleased with BestBuy for years. This particular Lenovo desktop presented an insurmountable problem and the Lenovo help desk was quite frankly all but nonexistent. Too bad, the PC had great performance capability but in the end was useless to me.

I especially like its small size. On the downside, I was disappointed, and somewhat puzzled, to read that Lenovo specifically says not to insert 3-inch discs into its optical drive. Also, occasionally, the display driver stops responding and restarts. Fortunately, it happens rarely and the driver restarts quickly and automatically, so it is only a minor annoyance.
