Easy access --high quality--my second Lenovo great service

Price point was good as I needed a machine in a pinch.

Perfect for our needs and great price, would purchase again

InitIally: First and foremost, I purchased this computer for my office. Setting it up felt more arduous than other computers that I have owned; however, I did not think much of it. Connections/Internet: Less than a month after purchasing this machine, I started realizing that I was always having connections issues (internet). I thought maybe it was something to do with my wifi, so I switched internet service. Worked fine for about 2 weeks then back to the same issues. I later tried to connect to the internet via an ethernet connection. That connection was also spotty (i.e. trash). Furthermore, everytime the computer was idle for an extended period of time (2-3 days), whenever I resumed using the computer, I would have to reset my internet connection. Miscellaneous: Recently, it has gotten to the point where I can open a document in MS Word but as soon as I attempt to save it, it closes. It then reopens as a recovered file (still with no ability to save). Once I restarted the computer, it no longer recognizes my wireless mouse and keyboard. So essentially, I cannot log in. Sure, I can go find the wired keyboard that came with it, but I won't. I bought wireless mouse and keyboard for a reason. Now, maybe I'm too stupid to own a computer but I have owned several computers and none have been this terrible. I am taking this back to bestbuy. I don't even want them to try to fix it. Give me a comparable computer or kindly refund my money. There will be someone reading this review saying "well did you try this, or did you try that." I shouldn't have to be trying tricks to get my computer to work. I was better off with my old Dell or HP. I will not speak on Lenovo as a brand because this is the only product I've ever (knowingly) purchased from them but I will never purchase a Lenovo computer again.

Works fine, basic school work is what it’s used for.

I got this Lenovo Idea Centre 510A-15ABR AMD A12 Series Desktop at Best Buy when it was on sale. I knew Lenovo used to be IBM, so I thought and hoped this computer would be in a long line of fine computers. I do research work for a living, so when I bought this computer, I really analyzed it. This is what I found. 1.The Lenovo Idea Centre 510A-15ABR AMD A12 Series Desktop actually looks great on the desk or table. Its look is top notch, and it lightness in weight is a plus. 2. The power supply for this computer is 185 watts, which will cause an initial reaction or worry, but there is no need to fear. The entire computer is set up to use less electricity. So far, it has chugged along with no strain on the power supply. 3. The AMD CPU runs well; few if any waits because of an overload. 4. The computer has 12 gigabytes of RAM, which is nice. Many of the top computers of Lenovo’s competitors only have 8. 5. The video/graphics card is an AMD Radeon that is integrated into the mother board. This looks bad, and I got ready to criticize it until I started running the computer through its paces. When I ran a game, a Windows Ten software use monitor showed the integrated graphics was using up to 4 gigabytes of the 12 gigabytes of RAM. That is nice. The game I play ran with beautiful crisp graphics. No problems here. 6. The keyboard that comes with this computer is top notch. It has large characters on the keys to help those who don’t see too well. The mouse is functional too. 7. The computer comes with Windows 10 installed. I consider that a plus. 8. The computer has four 3.0 USB ports and two 2.0 USB ports. I would that it had two more 2.0 USB ports on it in the back. Two of these would be for the keyboard and mouse, and one for hooking up a set of speakers that plug into a 2.0 bus port for power. 9. The mother board on this computer has nothing available for expansion internally other than a PCI slot or two. Any additional drives will most likely have to be external and able to hook up through one of the 3.0 USB ports. 10. The hard drive in this computer is a Western Digital. That is always a plus. I gave this computer a FIVE STARS because for most, it will be more than enough for them. I consider its many features outweigh any shortcomings it may have.

Computer is top-of-the-line except for Optical Reader. Technicians had to be asleep to let this excellent computer be down-graded with an Optical Reader that belongs else where. Fortunately, average user does not use as often as before so it can be disregarded.

The computer comes with 12 gigs of RAM I can add a video card if I wanted to probably help the performance and it comes with Windows 10

It originally didn’t have a hard drive but Geek Squad was super quick about sending it off to get fixed. It works pretty well so far, haven’t had any problems.

I use my desktop for general surfing and documents. This is a good one. Starts fast and rarely has any issues. I run several devices off of it and it has more than enough usb ports. Lenovo is a good brand and this is a nice low priced desktop.

I have only had my computer set up for 2 weeks now. Everything seems to be working just fine. Windows 10 I'm not so sure about though. The longer I have this desktop, the more I will demand from it. I will have to see how it keeps up. That will be the true test.

I purchased this computer a few weeks ago. It has been working fine, no problems. Monitor looks really nice. I don’t run a lot of graphic heavy stuff on this desktop, so I can’t say much about its performance Would recommend and buy Lenovo again.

My son got this for himself because his other one that's 8 years old is just very slow and cluttered with his stuff. Anyway it's taken him something like a month to get his desperately needed computer finally set up. He really likes it!
