Power supply upgrade is impossible without electronics engineering knowledge since motherboard contains a non-compliant power connector. The is typical of some of the cheap computers out there. In addition, I have a problem with the machine randomly shutting down.

I've had trouble getting the iTunes I downloaded to recognize my iPhone - a problem I never had with my old Dell. I'm not a sophisticated user so I'm probably not the one to ask. The word processing works fine which is what I need the most.

Posted .You may want to turn off automatic updates. That way you can approve what is download and you can create a restore point before you allow the update.
