Granted, Windows 10 is faster, with some additional bells & whistles. My problem was/is figuring them out. I sorely miss my Windows 7, but with patience and time, Windows 10 will get easier. Also; access to the DVD drawer is difficult to find, as the button is part of the metal trim and difficult to push.

The help was deceptive since they didn't know what the specs were on the model. I had to ask them to open up the case to prove that it was capable of RAM upgrade for the future. The desktop is a workhorse for it's level. Good purchase.

happy with the storage, detailed visuals and high definition visuals

Before buying the IdeaCentre, I owned another Lenovo. A good machine, but after 5 years, ready to be replaced. Love this new one. Much smoother operation, quick to download work and other docs/projects. After 6 mos, still doing well.

Way more computer than expected, I should have bought it for myself!

Almost two years with this pc and it runs great as the first day I bought it....Love this pc.

This product was advertised on Lenovo website as being upgradeable. it isn't upgradeable, the 250 power supply cannot be changed because the motherboard is a 10 pin compared to the regular 24 pin .it cannot supply power to a modern graphics cards.if you are just using it for regular stuff like work and browsing with light gaming ,then this is great.looks good and very slick.

I am new to the Lenova family. We now have a laptop and desktop - both are extremely fast and reliable.

We buy desktop computers to easily upgrade right? This fairly powerful and fairly nice pre-built desktop works well out of the box. So do laptops and all-in-ones though, which this one is somewhat similar to. It uses the newest DDR4 ram, which is not plug and play unlike most RAM has been since the dawn of home computing. Despite almost 30 years of building or working on my own computers I screwed up this simple upgrade - even worse, putting the old RAM back in or trying the new RAM in any number of configurations didn't work. I had to return it for replacement from Best Buy. Whcih, to their credit and after spending four hours on the phone and going to Geek squad, they did. the local guys were great. Beyond that, it comes with an anemic 250w power supply even though it has at least three expansion bays and PCI card slots that seem great on the surface, but can't get power. Beyond the power supply size, the connector from the PSU goes to the motherboard and any new drives you want to add need to be powered from the mobo connector to SATA. The computer comes with two connector possibilities for power to SATA, four unused SATA ports, no SATA cables, and worst of all the mobo to SATA power connector is NOT standard. It is proprietary and simply cannot be purchased anywhere in the USA. You can order one from China but it takes two weeks to arrive minimum. In other words, if you want to add more than one additional drive you are completely out of luck - EVEN though the computer is made to accept much more. Get something else. This is a nice idea for a computer, but if you want a desktop for the reason that most people want a desktop these days - self upgrades, repair, and enhancements - this is not for you.

Ample I-5 machine with external to motherboard video card. This is built like a classic PC compared to the competitors who have models w/ stripped down laptop parts. Ample power supply. Good cluck for the buck here if at sale price.

Changing to a new PC has been a mild adjustment. The new one runs faster and has many more options.
