GREAT COMPUTER BUT GET A SSD

The screen is awesome! My only grip is the 1TB HDD is AWFUL! It's not capable of handling Windows 10 as the software will freeze or lag. Make sure you invest in 1TB SSD. It's simple to replace a HDD with a SSD. Make sure you have a USB / SATA cable to clone your stuff on HDD onto your SSD. You can find how to install your new SSD inside this computer online, if you need help.

Posted .The 2.5-Inch, 5400RPM 1TB mechanical hard drive within the Lenovo IdeaCentre A340-22 All-In-One system, model number F0EA003RUS, will not lag or fail running Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System. If your system lags or is failing, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

If she can make the transition no one should have any problems with set up or operation. It's slim, neat and attractive taking up very little desk space.

A decent work PC for a small business.

I did have an issue with the first one being broken out of the box but the replacement was good to go. The stand is super aesthetically pleasing. But be careful not to snap it off white trying to tilt. The processor is pretty good. And multitasking seems to work well... until it doesn't.

Great purchase

It's everything that I wanted and more. Set up was a breeze and I love the speed, storage capacity, and features. I work from home and needed a newer computer that was more reliable than the old laptop I was using. It stays well connected to the house wi-fi 95% of the time, which my laptop didn't. The form factor is also nice and compact while remaining full-featured. I was even able to pack up my entire work station (including extra monitor) into a rubbermaid tub to go house-sitting for a week. I highly recommend this solid work computer.

This was a replacement from a more expensive computer and he says he likes this one better. Maybe because of the design but it’s a great buy.

Posted .The Lenovo IdeaCentre A340-22 All-In-One system will boot from off to the Windows 10 Desktop Screen in less than 40-seconds. If your father is getting slower boot times, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. The only downside is not being able to adjust the monitor. I'm short so the camera only shows the top of my head where I have my computer placed. Not a deal breaker though.
