In late April - March it did an automatic update and when i went back to it to see what was updated i got a blue screen. There is no way for me to get to anything and it tells me my password isn't correct for windows. I just can't believe this. I called best buy to see what to do. They said to make an appointment to bring it in. I asked if it was covered because it was so new they told me they couldn't answer that until it was looked at. I was unable to get it up there until tomorrow. Hopefully Lenovo stands behind there product. Overall i love the computer, style everything about it!

The overall setup process is fast. The windows 10 home experience is good but I eventually upgraded to Windows 10 Pro. It took less than 7 minutes from the time of turning on to logging into the computer.

I read the reviews and though most were positive there were some that mentioned how slow it was and that was my experience. I did not install a second virus program on it, all programs on it were windows approved and came with the computer. It was very slow on the internet and very slow when changing tabs or even mousing over programs. My internet connection is strong, I even ran a side by side with my 10 year old computer this was meant to replace (the 10 year old computer was faster). Just sharing my experience. It is possible I got a bad unit and am happy for Best Buys return policy. It does look beautiful, sleek and the touchscreen was a really neat addition. I wish it would have worked out and would consider a Lenovo in the future, but this was not a great experience for me (returned four days after opening). I wanted to do all updates to make sure it wasn't something missing that was critical to windows operating correctly.

If you are experiencing slower boot up times and performance and you have no incompatible software installed, we always recommend you check the requirements and compatibility of any software you will be using on your new computer, before you invest in any computer. Be sure your new computer can support the work you will need to do. This configuration is a moderate workload system, with its 4-Core Intel Pentium J5005 processor, with a base speed of 1.5GHz and a boost speed of up to 2.8GHz. This processor is supported by 8GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM. We recommend you check the software/APPs you are running to be sure this system's configuration is compatible with the work you want to do. I had had a previous one that lasted 11 years with very few problems. This one, not so great. I had set it up with help from my techie daughter-in-law and it started acting up right away. After a couple of days I had to change my password constantly, it was slow loading, and I had troubles with Windows 10.I ended up having a technician from Data Doctors come out who charged me $179 but he got the computer working very nice. However, after a short time the computer was acting up again. Could not get into my files without having to change my password every time. Out of frustration I brought it back into Data Doctors and it's costing me another $50 to have them run some program on it and check a few things for me. I'm also getting a maintenance agreement on it because I don't feel I can trust it with excellent performance. Awesome the keyboard that came with the computer didn't work right from the get-go I ordered another one from Best buy that I thought would be really nice it had back lights to it and colors. But that one stopped working as well. So now I'm paying for a third keyboard at data doctors. I'm just so disappointed it's in this computer I cannot explain my frustration with it. I hope no one else has to go through what I've been through with it.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaCentre A340-22 All-In-One system. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

My only two complaints are the mouse is easy to take apart and comes apart easily in my hand while I work. and that the keyboard doesn't have an off option. other then those two thinks which are minor. the computer its self is amazing I love the look it is easy to set up.

I bought it as an upgrade on my 4 year old computer with only 4 GB of RAM. But this computer is slower and my business software is constantly crashing and saying that it cannot open multiple clients at a time, something I did not have issues with on my previous comp. Don't buy this if you plan on using any programs that use significant memory.

Beautiful screen and so few plugs make it much more attractive than my older desk top/tower machine. ( My desk doesn't look quite as messy now) It is actually faster than my older machine too.
