Everything you need is in the box
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This processor is rated at low, which is higher than budget. From my experience budget should not even be an option, it is bad. However, ‘low’ I feel like, is maybe not giving this processor enough credit. This AIO is everything you need, it even plays goat simulator 3 well. Now if your looking for Fornite, it can technically play it but it may not be the best experience, but, as a work around just play it on Xbox cloud gaming, I believe you don’t even need a subscription. I figured I’d put this in there, but I don’t really see the use case of this being used for much gaming. This is you ‘basic’ all in one (AIO) PC to surf the web, type up documents, and whatever else is needed. It comes with McAfee which I find is a pain to remove completely as it seems to come back from the dead when someone new logs into the PC as well as a dropbox promotion thing. I personally dislike antivirus software and the built in is good enough for me. The screen is bright, clear, and HD; while better screens do exist, for value I think the screen is awesome. What I love about this is that it has everything you need. It comes with a mouse and keyboard, camera (no cover), built in speaks, and the monitor/computer itself. For anyone that just needs a computer that doesn’t take up a lot of space and can do general computer tasks, this would fit the bill. The design overall looks good, I like the gray and how thin it is. I also love that the Aux (headphones) is on the side as well as the power button (on the opposite side). There is also a USB C on the side while the traditional USB As are on the back. This makes sense to me as most USB A plugins at this point are ones that don’t change, like the mouse and keyboard or a printer while a USB C is for the iPhone or Android. Overall, if you are just looking for a computer that allows you to get your basic computing tasks done, this one hits it out of the park in my mind. Is this a computer I’d buy myself, no, but is it one I would buy for my grandma/grandma, uncle/aunt or mom/dad; absolutely.

Nicely styled, great display, quiet and efficient
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Lenovo IdeaCentre 24IRH9 All In One with U300 is a pretty solid PC with just the right amount of frills. For a "value oriented" PC this thing actually has a pretty surprising amount of value with very few insurmountable compromises. Lenovo has done a great job of finding the balance in making this a useful PC that isn't handicapped by poor OEM options. I was absolutely SHOCKED to learn that at this price point they have included a true NVME SSD rather than SATA or eMMC, and the RAM is also upgradeable via SO-DIMM rather than being soldered to the mainboard. You can either add a single 8GB DDR5 SODIMM to get to 16GB or buy a kit with two sticks. Also somewhat surprising is this was advertised as including 5200MT/s DDR5 but mine was at 5600MT out of the box. Kudos, Lenovo! #TLDR: Who is this for?# I think this IdeaCentre All in One is a great buy for a family looking to add a personal computer for productivity, school work, or video chat. Since it has a very useful HDMI input, I think it's an especially good buy for someone who has a desk for working from home but wants a personal PC but not a laptop. You can easily connect your work laptop and use this AIO as a 24" monitor, then disconnect the work PC and it immediately is ready for you to use as a personal PC. #Physical/build quality impressions# Setup was super easy. The build quality of the AIO is reasonably good especially at this price - while there is a lot of plastic, the design is simple and understated and the materials feel good. The hinge in particular feels very solid. There are plenty of well labeled USB ports on the rear with an HDMI input on one side and an output on the other, making it easy to plug things in by feel without getting the wrong port. Surprisingly it uses a standard Lenovo 'rectangle tip' laptop power adapter. My only knock on the first impressions are the mediocre wireless keyboard and mouse. Namely, they require a dongle rather than pairing via bluetooth (I assume this is actually to make them easier to set up rather than a cost savings) so you lose a USB port right off. Also, the keyboard layout isn't a full 104 key and has kind of a weird layout especially around the arrow keys. And the mouse doesn't have forward/back buttons. These are all easy to fix and I'm sure a lot of families looking at this may find they'll use their older mouse and keyboard vs the new one. #Usage impressions# First off- the display is GREAT for this price point. It's 'only' 1080p but it's 100hz which is fantastic for eyestrain, though I could only get 60hz when using the HDMI input from another computer. While a U300 5-core CPU isn't going to blow the doors off anything gaming wise, you can do some light gaming like Minecraft on this machine without grinding to a halt. Sound quality from the speakers is surprisingly good as well. It's easy to doubt when you see a Harman logo on something like this but there is a decent amount of bass and full range of sound due to the design of this system. The webcam is a little noisy, but delivered a surprisingly good image even when in the dreaded backlight scenario where I had a full bay window behind me while setting this up for the first time in my kitchen. #Negatives# I mentioned it in the first impressions but the mouse and keyboard are really my only negatives for this machine, and to me this isn't a major factor as I always consider the included OEM stuff to be disposable on a new computer. They aren't unusable if you're buying this as a first computer for your family or a child - but they aren't great.

The All - in - One is so suitable for my desk without taking up space my old computer used. The wireless mouse and keyboard are another feature to save space from wires and etc. Setting it up was easy and operating in a short time. I am happy I chose this computer. g S

Great Little Productivity Machine
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Lenovo All-In-One is a great computer for the target audience it is made for. If you keep that in mind and don't expect more from it you will be very happy with it. You are not going to be able to use this for musc heavier gaming beyond Solitaire but remember, it's not made for that purpose. This is designed for someone looking for a simple computer for internet browsing or light office work. Best suited to a family room or home office, not a gaming rig setup. I have installed the chrome browser and Office 365 and it runs both with no issues. The included wireless keyboard and mouse I have since replaced with a Logitech pair I already had around and was not using. They are fine if nothing else is available but not something you'd want to use long term. The display is more impressive that I would have expected. It's rather bright and the picture is rather sharp considering it's a 1080p panel. Web pages and Work documents are plenty sharp enough. I was able to watch some Netflix and Hulu with no issues. The built in speakers could be better but it's servacible considering what this is designed for. I'd recommend getting a decent external speaker setup if something like that is important to you. The webcam is basic in the extreme but good enough for Zoom meetings. Overall this is an excellent computer if you keep in mind what it designed for and keep your expectations if line with that.

Good Value for Basic All In One
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All In One workstations fit a purpose to have a full screen in a small footprint. This Lenovo All In One makes it very compact by having the keyboard and mouse connected via Bluetooth. In short, this is a serviceable workstation for basic tasks such as browsing, email and photo editing. Beyond that, the horsepower is limited. Screen One of the best features of this workstation is the screen. While not the largest, the 24" screen is clear and bright. Processor and Memory This is what makes this workstation limited to basic uses (i.e. no gaming or involved video editing). If you also want to use Copilot+ features of Windows this will not be able to do it. 8GB of memory is also low as you want to go to get a fair level of multitasking with Windows 11. Pricing and Value This is why I gave this workstation 4 stars instead of 3. It's not hard to justify the value and functionality of this all in one unit for $499. As discussed, if you are looking for a well designed unit to do web browsing, email and Office applications. Just make sure this is what you are looking to do with this workstation
