Compact and Reliable

I'm still getting used to some of the features. I love how everything is so compact. It takes up less space than my older computers. I would have given it a 5 star rating but it makes noises that I don't understand. They seem harmless.

Not a good purchase

Everyday the device locks up multiple times. Exactly the same problem as everyone else has posted. I am an IT director at a Fortune 500 company and I would never procure this hardware for my business or myself.

We recommend verifying that the installed software is compatible with Windows 11 Operating System and the specifications of this computer. Also, we recommend checking for updates through Windows Update settings. These updates can help resolve issues from operating system bugs to driver software improvements. To navigate there, select start on the taskbar (windows logo) or press the windows key on the keyboard then select Settings. In Settings, select Windows Update, and then select the Check For Updates button. Install any available updates and restart your PC if required. WORST COMPUTER EVER!

I received it as a Christmas gift, so I just opened it last week. I've used it for the past week and it has frozen every single time that I've used it. Each time I've had to unplug it to restart it because holding down the power does nothing. As such, I read some troubleshooting tips in hopes that I would not have to return it. To no avail, it is still freezing. I bought the same computer with the 24" screen 2 yrs. ago and never had this problem. Nonetheless, I just tried to initiate a return and the website says that the return period has closed. A 15-day return period during the holidays is unreasonable. Worst Best Buy experience ever!

Not worth it

Would just freeze and we would have to do a hard shut down. Then unplug and plug back in, before it would turn back on. I took it into Best Buy for service, the said they fixed it. Took it back and within a week it was doing the same thing. This computer is now less than 2 years old and we can barely do basic cloud based services on it.

Windows 10 is Better! Sticky keyboard

It freezes sometimes and I have to disconnect the computer. The mouse does not move smoothly. The keys do whatever they want. If I type "a" it will automatically type 10 "a" on its own. Totally frustrating to have these problems. Every once in a while a box appears when I am typing and it will not let me finish what I am typing. Is this a Windows 11 problem or a computer problem? Also it stopped part way loading up my old files from the hard drive. My old Lenovo was better compared to to this and ma not sure why there are so many hiccups!!! Not a happy customer.

For the system freezing issue, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 11. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. You can turn off the Sticky Key Function within Windows 11. Good computer with 1 hiccup.

I was on a website and all of a sudden my computer froze. I couldn't use the touch screen feature and I couldn't open any programs. In order to fix this problem, I unplugged the power cord and plugged it back in. Since then I have not had any issues.

If you are experiencing these issues, be sure any software you installed is compatible with the Windows operating system. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "Restore" in the Windows search bar. You can locate the search bar by clicking on the Windows logo at the bottom of the screen. After you type in “Restore,” click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on-screen directions to restore to factory defaults. Freezes up out of box

It freezes up fairly often and has to be unplugged or the mouse with freeze up. This is straight out of the box, nothing new installed, etc. I had read reviews thinking it was just installation issues, but nothing has been installed yet. Very disappointed for the price, but when it's working, it works well.
