Excellent PC
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, I am not a gamer but wanted a computer that can handle good graphics for photo editing, etc. The price point, quietness, speed and flawless execution make this the perfect PC for my needs. It’s just one of those purchases where I have myself a pat on the back. Excellent PC.

Great little machine for the price point
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I I will be using this for work primarily and gaming secondary. Out of the box it was smaller than I expected but its nice that it fits on my desk with my dual monitor setup without feeling cramped. With the small size I was worried about heat and I'll get to that later. I new I would need more storage so I cracked open the case to add a 2TB SSD. The hard drive bay has a plastic "drawer" that is removed to add the SSD. I felt like I was going to break it trying to get it out. I did manage to get it out without breaking but it was in there tight and the drawer feels a little flimsy. It was a little tricky getting the 3.5 to 2.5 bracket with the ssd installed and again I felt like I might break the drawer but managed to get it installed. This is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Start up was great and after answering the prerequisite MS questions I was running. That was the best part of the experience. Everything worked! Monitors, speaker, keyboard, camera/mic combo, and my old trackball mouse just worked first time. No searching for obscure drivers on the internet! I was a little leary of Windows 11 home based on feedback from friends who had upgraded but really it was easy to use and fairly intuitive. Work: I was able to get my work VPN running and connected to work along with Teams and made some calls to verify all was good. While working this thing is so quiet! Its even quieter than my laptop which I had running as a backup incase I couldn't connect to work right away! The GPU/CPU are barely stressed while remote working. Gaming: I'm not going to be pushing this thing to the max as most of the games I play are a few years old. I did start up Elite Dangerous running 2056x1080 without any problems for about two hours and the GPU got up to 46C which is still cool so this little box is running plenty cool for the games I run. For the price point this is a great little machine. I'm happy with my purchase and definitely recommend it if you are looking for an entry level gamer!

Great
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from an old gaming laptop that would crash when I would do anything gaming related, this PC is amazing. Let me start by saying I don't play highly demanding games. I mainly play the Sims 4 and Stardew Valley, and for those games it works great. It quiet even when playing on the highest graphics. Beyond gaming this PC works great. I edit videos and photos for hobby and it never lags on my Adobe programs. The only thing I wish it had is an SD card slot but it was not that big of a deal.

Amazing PC
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm overall impressed with this PC. It has some pretty high end specs for the price, and it's still going strong almost a year after. If you are able to pick up this PC, I highly recommend it. Able to play Cyperpunk 2077, Subnautica, Baldurs Gate 3, etc on highest settings possible with no lag.

This computer has performed beyond our expectations. The graphics are better than expected and it runs faster than some of my more expensive computers. I am very pleased with this purchase.

||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price and size of this PC I was really suprised how well it performs, I was worried about overheating Becuase of the small case but to my suprise it performs very well and the cpu stays relatively cool , for all you get in this little guy it’s hard to find anything negative about it espically for the price point

Great gaming
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great, super fast. The LHR version of the 3060 is noted with better cooling than the regular 3060. Performance is the same of course. It's very fast, can run games at 1440p with medium settings for 80 to 100 fps. Or 1080p max setting for a solid 50 to 60 fps. It's good overall.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaCentre 5i Gaming Desktop Computer. We are pleased to hear that the features and performance of the IdeaCentre 5i meets your computing needs so well. This model ships with the discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 LHR GPU. To help combat the dire GPU availability situation faced by gamers, Nvidia introduced Lite Hash Rate (LHR) technology that put strict limits on the mining performance of select GPUs, to get more graphics cards into the hands of gamers.

Couldnt pass the deal up
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had 10 year old i7 pc that was starting to show its age, could not output to 4k oled tv. This fit the bill, and runs games very well. Im sure someone who chases highest specs will find reason to complain- but it is on par or exeeds my experience on my ps5. Very quiet and the breathing blue lightbar is pretty cool. Had to add usb 3.0 pcie1x card because I didnt want all my cables coming out the front (usb 2.0 rear ports only) No other expansion slots on the board, only two channels of memory can be installed so 2x16bg ddr3 might be your answer. For the price its hard to beat. Pretty much the same price as the cpu and rtx3060 if you were building one.

The best spec'd & best priced desktop available
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Procured this computer specifically to work on multiple video editing, photo editing and general projects simultaneously. For the price, you CAN'T beat these specs. Literally looked for anything close to this that's comparable with 16GB ram, an SSD and a Dedicated graphics card. The closest in compare were machines that cost about $1,048 and beyond. Seriously don't know how Lenovo managed to spec a computer for this price, nor know how Best Buy sells these cheaper than the manufacturer website does. It works great for having OBS Studio recording, using photo shop to edit images, uploading to youtube, and trimming videos all at the same time pretty much. All the updates go by like lightning. Seriously disappointed to not get this sooner. Just get this thing already if you're sleeping on it. Guarantee that these sell out soon once people realize just how good the specs are vs. the price. Don't sleep on this ya'll.
