Nice alternate Chromebook

Worth it but there is a problem with internet connectivity as the WiFi connection gets lost each time we open a new browser. Took it to Bestbuy and it works fine on their WiFi. 3 months return time is over so ended up owning it for good

IT is possible updating the system software, device drivers, and BIOS will resolve this issue for you. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan” In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

Awful laptop, do not buy

Would overheat and slow down when trying to stream YouTube at 720p/1080p. Poor ventilation too, had to return it before return period was up, it was actually that bad. Didn't have high expectations, but still, basic web browsing was impossible, screen quality and angle also was awful.

Either way, I took the laptop to Best Buy (Rt 10 E. Hanover) for service and the tech there tried to tell me nothing was wrong with it until she saw the grainy picture for herself. Also, the camera on the display laptop (same model) was much better. Best Buy/Lenovo needs to do the right thing here! REPLACE THE LAPTOP OR FIX THE CAMERA!!

This model ships with a 300p webcam and microphone built in. You can improve the camera performance by being sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer. Then updating all of the BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. Need to use websites and watch Netflix in bed?

She thought that my Netflix subscription was a huge hidden bank of DVDs (which she sort of understands are like “flat video tapes”) and seeing Netflix running on a device that isn’t a TV was really jarring for her. Needless to say, we did NOT “chill” during or after Netflix.
