She thought that my Netflix subscription was a huge hidden bank of DVDs (which she sort of understands are like “flat video tapes”) and seeing Netflix running on a device that isn’t a TV was really jarring for her. Needless to say, we did NOT “chill” during or after Netflix.

The CPU is not catching up, not even close

However it is below entry level, means it is junk. The CPU cannot handle essentially any video processing. Any. It is designed and equipped with webcam, but you cannot use it. Try to run Skype, the CPU spikes to 100% and stays there almost constantly until Skype shuts down. It runs perhaps 5 minutes and done. You have to redial, reconnect. My son needs to run Zoom meeting with his teachers, but cannot, same thing. Zoom video makes the CPU run 100% capacity and in about 5-10 minutes cannot keep up and freezes. Done. Even if you shut down every other OS-nonessential program the CPU cannot handle any video processing software, like ZOOM, SKYPE or DOXY. So not sure the webcam is for. It is a faulty design, no other way to put it. I returned the first one, thinking perhaps it had some defect, but the second is doing the same thing. A question for Lenovo: what is the webcam for?

Just OK, don't get if needed for home schooling

Because it is Win10S, you can't use Zoom without removing the protections inherent in 10S. But, it also falls short for using MS Teams. The processor is only 1.6gHz which is the floor of what is recommended for Teams. It works well for one-on-one meetings. But if you have a full class or even a 6 person meeting, it will be *incredibly* slow to respond to anything you do -- un/muting, chat, entering/exiting a meeting.
