Don’t waste your money!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the worst computer I have ever used. It is slower than a slug and unusable. I bought it for my daughter for Christmas. She said it was slow but I never checked it out until she told me she could not use it for college in August because it’s too slow. I should have listen to her sooner and returned it. Don’t waste your money on this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend Fairly inexpensive but works well for the basics
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a laptop to do online training, web browsing and basic documentation and spreadsheet work. This did the job. I did upgrade the memory to 8GB since my browsing habits seemed to fill that up quickly. Otherwise performance for videos etc is great. Very reliable with pretty decent battery life.

Posted .Once again, thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14 Laptop for your grand daughter. You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If you ever need additional help with your Lenovo computer, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

So slowww
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this computer to just pay bills online and sometimes use excel. It’s soooo slow. I figured it wouldn’t be a big deal with the lower processor for web browsing, but I was wrong. Took forever to load a new window it felt like I was back in 90’s with dial up internet. Going to return ASAP. Love Best Buy tho and I know it’s not their fault! Will be buying a more expensive model.

Do not buy!!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Waste of money!!! Biggest piece of crap!!! I bought for my girlfriend for Christmas last year and has not worked from day one!! Every time she tries to use it it goes to downloading Windows every time, the way we work makes it hard to get to the store,we finally got to go to the Daytona store and the salesman said call Lenovo and that we could also trade it in for another laptop. Not,I did the trade in app and it said that there was 0 trade in value!!! Really~! it isnt even a year old and no trade value!! Come on people with tax it was almost 250.00 I know 250.00 isnt that much but I would expect to get at least a year or two of use. I had bought a Acer back in 2016 and payed about 60.00 less and still works perfect! I would have expected something for trade but it said they would recycle for free!! Not!! The would refurbish and sell as used I would bet on that!! Best Buy may have lost a long long time customer over this deal!! I have been a loyal customer ever since Best Buy opened their doors and have spent countless dollars on all kinds of electronics from day one. This may be the end of a loyal customer for Best buy! Stand behind the product you sell!!! Very disappointed!!!
