You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". Good for a middle school student

We needed everyone to have access to their own laptops since we were all working/doing school from home. It works very well overall. The only issue we have had is for some reason ZOOM does not seem to work on it. When she meets with her class she has to switch to my laptop or her phone. It is a big inconvenience since they use zoom several times a week.

The the APP you are using is not available through the Microsoft Store and/or the APP is not compatible with Windows 10 S-Mode, you will need to switch out of S-Mode. Good Laptop for Basic Use

I'm still learning. I was hoping to be able to add an app for my security camera but it won't load and I also wanted to download software to view an SD card for cpap machine. This laptop won't do that either. It's also slower than laptops I've had in the past. For basic use only, browsing, etc.

It works good unless i have 3 or more tabs open at a time. Or if i have the internet PLUS a microsoft open then it could be a little slow. Also, we used Respondus for exams and it is very slow with that as well. If had myself dazing at the screen waiting for the next question to load. Overall, I probably would not purchase again just based on speed.

Two stars off due to the massive amounts of shovelware that comes pre-installed. If you prefer a clean, no-BS interface and control over your programs like me, be prepared to do a lot of deleting on your first day.

Like all these lower end units don't expect a gaming setup or blazing fast action. Definitely need an sd card for storage. Great for light casual usage, email, shopping/browsing. Makes a decent extra unit for our household. Would recommend only buying at sell price though due to the nature of these little guys.
