Takes forever to boot up and does not stay connected to the internet. I am use to my speedy Chromebook. I bought this to run the Cricut Design Space software. It works for that, sort of. I have to be sure to save work often because it will crash. The baterie dies quickly as well.

Receive messages that website is not responding. Opens up pages that I do not want to open just by scrolling over something. Will jump from new mail to old mail. Would not work on a 97 % charged battery, had to plug in to get it to work.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaPad 1-14 laptop, model number 81VS0001US. First, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If there is no incompatible software installed, but the issues continue, resetting the computer back to original factory settings may reset the battery and correct the other problems you are experiencing. Was concerned with her using her personal laptop. Hooked it up to the corporate servers, attached an HDMI monitor and away she went. Fast, no burps, works just great.

I had to run 3-4 programs at once and this computer couldn’t handle it. It’s pretty cheap and I would only recommend this for college or high school students that need to write research papers. You’re better off spending the extra $100 for a far more reliable laptop that what Lenovo has to offer. Sadly i wasn’t able to make it to a store before the return policy period.
