||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lenovo Brand Rep will reply to the end of the Earth that this is an entry level model, but the computer is so deprived of processing power, that it can't run its own Lenovo Vantage diagnostics which comes pre-installed on the model. After processing icons run for about five minutes, the application abends. Bought it yesterday on an open box return, and returning today. Best Buy should drop the model-- it is unable to meet the most basic performance-- never got past browser use other than Zoom installation -- nothing works. Wouldn't even be a good computer if it were free, because it just can't function. Bummer-- another reason why I typically stick with Chromebooks.

Horrible Laptop Purchase Experience -wait times

(35 minutes)We stood next to the product and watched as the salesmen waited on other customers so we were patient in the process at first. We noticed that we were left waiting even after others arrived afterwards- they were taken first. Not wanting to cause a science, We then went over to stand in line only to be looked over once more! We were next in line when another customer walked up asked for help and the salesman completely ignored us. It was the third party intel rep that noticed and gave us more attention. However, he wasn’t able to do anything besides alert management. The Representative that finally came to the counter to check us out was very helpful and informative.

You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Not too thrilled that the processor sometimes freezes and not too thrilled that my microsoft office keeps getting deactivated although it's activated. I just wish i would have thoroughly viewed this laptop before buying it. It may have been the cheapest but I stick by my word when I say it is not the best. I don't even use the camera. It's terrible. Blurry and no lightening. No camera settings to adjust either. Also this laptop does not come with a CD slot or an Ethernet port. Not too happy about that either. It's ridiculous that I cannot return it. Best buy could of at least did what Walmart does and take the laptop back and give me a gift card. I like Best Buy, but this item will be the last item I ever buy from Best Buy.
