This computer can continue running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". My Best Buy Experience on a Budget

I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase I’ve told family and friends about going to Best Buy for their needs instead of some of these other office stores. With that being said I do understand the purchase limits and can appreciate why they are in place. If I was able to go inside the store at time of purchase I would have been able to speak with someone, explained my needs and therefore could have made better choices. I blame the virus and not the store for not being able to shop in person. I will continue to use the online option but prefer speaking to someone and actually seeing what I am about to purchase before I do. 4.5 stars.

Worth the price for everyday use

Good for YouTube, Microsoft office applications, watching videos, etc. battery life, keyboard lights , Bluetooth, light weight, nice silver flashy casing, 2x USB ports are the highlights of this laptop. You can install lite versions of OS, Linux, etc

Budget Laptop Works as Expected

I only needed something compact to type on and do basic web searches when I'm too lazy to use my desktop computer. I've opened about 5 tabs at a time with one on YouTube running a video and it worked perfectly well. Was also using Word Doc at the same time too. So in terms of lagging - wasn't really a problem. One con though is the battery drains fast but again, budget friendly - I only got it for $119 on Black Friday so I can't complain. One note regarding the Microsoft Office 12 months subscription - I've noticed some reviewers saying they had problems with getting that. Here's a hint, once you start up the computer, it will eventually pop up with an option telling you that you'll get a 1 month free trial - DO NOT ACCEPT THAT. SKIP IT! And then continue with the computer set up. Once you're on the main desktop page, type Word in the Start Menu search, select the Word app, and it will then show you that you have the 12 month subscription! Then you can select and accept it. A lot of people on here said they contacted Best Buy and then Lenovo to get this fixed. Word of advice - don't call Best Buy, they knew nothing and was even arguing with me that this laptop doesn't have the 12 month subscription even though it's advertised on their own website. I ended doing a little 5 min search online regarding this issue and had it fixed myself. So - this laptop does have the 12 month subscription, just follow the directions above. There's also a video on youtube actually by Lenovo on how to get the 12 month activated on this laptop.

Horrible laptop...

It’s slow as hell, videos (on all streaming platforms) stop to buffer literally every 3-5 seconds and I know it’s not my WiFi because I have full connection and my previous laptop didn’t do that, I can’t install McAfee because it just flat out won’t install it... it basically doesn’t register the fact that I’m hitting the approve button to install it and the entire program just vanishes off the screen, no loading bar or anything. Do not buy this piece of garbage. I didn’t wanna go through the hassle of getting my other laptop fixed so I just bought this one as a quick fix... I could not have been more wrong. Appearance is fine, it arrived in beautiful condition. But the performance was straight up garbage. I’m trying to do very basic everyday tasks on this thing and it can NOT keep up.
