Since parents were running out because e-learning was going to be the new norm. Three stores later, I found this. Wasn’t sure about it, but I didn’t have a choice. It was this or nothing in my price range. I lost my job, like many, but I still needed it to apply for jobs. Let’s just say , I love it! Great laptop!!

We got her this laptop and she loves it. Says it’s fast loading and does a great job at maintaining a charge and staying connected during zoom calls. Works great for her and was easy to set up. She was up and running in less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend for the casual laptop user. Not for gamers or those with major computing needs,

If you just want Basic Internet Service, this one will be OK. It only has 4GB. I own one with 4GB and use it when traveling to Europe. It's a 11.6" Lenovo that weighs 2.8 lbs and paid closer to $150.00 than $200.00 out the door. If you can afford 8GB, you might want to do that. It's all a matter of price and your usage.

You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. It's an inexpensive device for email and web surfing. I initially purchased two, one for my wife who has a habit of destroying laptops and one for my toddler son. While it's far from a performance or gaming laptop, it's an inexpensive device that isn't too painful to replace. My son still uses his original on occasion when he's visiting his grandparents. For the price, the IdeaPad is hard to beat.

It's not bad to be honest for the money you pay for it it's a great little machine. We mainly just use it for small things like checking emails and using it to stream on our TV sometimes. Don't expect to be playing COD on it but for what you pay I recommend it if you just need a small work laptop.
