Quality product, good price and curbside delivery for home school. Since the Covid-19 crap, made changes to our lifestyle. We don't take life for granted and a multipurpose office at my cave. Glad Best Buy is adapting to unfortunate latest events.

I'm very disappointed in Best Buy. I purchased this computer with a warranty somehow within 3 days the computer was damanged. Spoke with Geek Squad they said bring it in, so I did. Was told I would have to send the computer off it did have damage warranty but they couldn't exchange it. So in order for me to continue my job I had to purchase another computer with a warranty. So 2 computers $600 dollars later no one still has exchanged or refunded me for the 1st computer.

One of the trashiest computers ever purchased!! The contrast sucks!! It moves slow, it freezes frequently and wasn't worth the $200.00 I paid for it. If my apartment was on fire and that computer burned in it, I wouldn't even file it with loss of property to my insurance. I now hardly ever use this computer. I've charged it and placed it under my bed.

I needed a laptop for an affordable price with a decent processor. The processing speed is awesome for the price, the picture quality isn't superb but still phenomenal for the price range. The free year of office 365 really adds to the value of the item and overall I am able to use it for business purposes.

Once again, thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14 Laptop. You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If you ever need additional help with your Lenovo computer, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help. Lenovo

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my dad and we've been pretty disappointed with it. He is a youtube junkie and only has one tab open, he is tech-literate enough to know how to clean the cache and cookies but still the laptop is incredibly slow. Honestly if it were any slower it would be going backwards. Definitely returning this little guy

We bought this to replace our 7 year old laptop, mainly used for internet browsing and occasional word processing. It’s just as slow as our old computer, has terrible screen quality (everything looks pixelated) and constantly freezes. Wish I could return it, but left it sit in the box for too long before opening.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 1-14 laptop, model number 81VS0001US, ships with Windows 10 S-Mode Operating System, which should not freeze. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo

    Cheap Laptop Not Worth It

I bought this for my 2nd grader and Kindergartner right before school closures; the ideas was something simple for web surfing, school work online and video conferences. The whole computer was slow, web pages took forever to load and process (not the internet), and we we tried the web cameras, they shot sideways (90 degrees, not portrait) in Microsoft Teams. I thought it would be Windows S but even after the upgrade it didn't improve it. It was literally unusable for the most basics tasks. I wasn't expecting blazing fast but I was expect something operational. This wasn't. I've used Lenovo laptops in the past and I have an AMD CPU in my current editing desktop, so I was expecting at least passing. This was literally the worst laptop I've used (appropriate for the time it was sold). Returned these and bought something that runs much better.

You get what you pay for. The price is low, but this really only is good for web browsing and basic Office functionalities. Opening up multiple tabs, trying to run a Zoom call, will slow down the browsers and lead to crashing. Our intent was for our kids to have a computer to connect with their friends, complete school work, and browse the web. This had insufficient horse power
