I looked for the cheapest laptop possibly since I knew I would use it for work and nothing else. It works fine with my software, but everything else is SOOOO SLOW. It takes forever to google something. So for me, this laptop works fine for what I bought it for. But I would not purchase this laptop for everyday use.

Everything she needed for her homework, camera and all! Did lag a bit when in her class meetings only down side! But there are usually a good number online with us, started using the phone for the meetings now. But no complaints really!

I recently attempted to access a Zoom meeting. This computer took an extraordinary amount of time to download the app. Once I joined the meeting, I was unable to maintain the link as the video kept scrambling and I could only hear part of a few of the words which were said.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are using this computer for offline functions (Word, excel, Powerpoint, etc) It might work better, but If you are using this for ANY sort of online functions expect it to run very slow and have a lot of lag. It has trouble loading any simple webpages (took a full MINUTE to load google, and I have exceptional WiFi for other purposes so the issue isn't there) and Also had trouble loading discord messages and voice calls. Also keep in mind that there is no way to upgrade this laptop.

If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. Even if you have switched out of S-Mode, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. I have tried to delete preloaded and unnecessary software/tools I will not use. I have also not stored/transferred/downloaded any type of files/media/apps. I wish I would have bought a different one. It’s terrible. Don’t waste your money.

It was sluggish right after the box and it was painful just with the initial setup: slow to open the browser, slow to show the website, slow to open task manager, low disk space. I bought this laptop for my 5th grade daughter to help with her homework, which is basically accessing a web portal and doing the homework clicking in a bunch of boxes or checkboxes. 40 minutes later my daughter calls me saying the computer was glitching. When I checked the computer, it was really hot and frozen. A computer with nothing installed froze because it couldn't handle a simple website. I ran a factory reset and return the computer next day. This thing is worse than my 10 year old HP and this HP is slow as hell.

Cheap basic computer

The one on the way thing about it is it comes in Windows s mode which needs to be disabled so you can install third-party apps such as Chrome
