The issue with this Lenovo is the lack of storage space, which of course, no one tells you. It is not something I would think to ask about either, since I have never had any storage issues. No this laptop basically only has space for endless windows updates! You have to put any favorite music, photos, apps in a cloud which costs money! I bought my husband a chromebook, and now I wish I had done the same, even though I dislike it, but that's another story. I wish I had know this within the time period to return it. Now I'm stuck with and paying for a worthless piece of junk.

With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free. A very serviceable computer once you wipe it clean

I highly recommend removing the junk that comes with it before you use it. If you do a clean Windows 10 install, be aware that this laptop uses a non-standard storage controller that requires a special driver, so you won't even be able to install Windows 10 without downloading the special driver from the Lenovo website and feeding it into Windows setup during the disk partitioning process.

The camara has never worked. Will be taking to geek squad to return. But it does serve the purpose. We bought the same one for Christmas and it works just fine. Lack of RAM is apparent when running multiple tasks.

If you’re looking for something inexpensive for paying bills or working from home with a few basic downloads this is a good buy. With that being said, I would not recommend this for college students, or gamers. The battery life is not ideal, but it’s just fine for my tasks. For me to use this for an 8 hour work shift I need to charge it at least 1 1/2 times. Overall I would recommend it for the price especially when on sale. I was able to get this laptop for $229 if it drops any lower, snag it!

This was the best option I could find and it suit my budget. Unfortunately my kids tell me it is very slow to load even the smallest file. Overall it is okay because it allowed them to do their work and not fall behind.

It’s taken quite some time to adjust to its sensitivity (I had to go in an change the settings which I’ve never had to do with previous laptops I’ve owned). Other than that I have no complaints. Nice little laptop for cheap if you’re only looking for the basics.

Posted .With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

Otherwise, this device is sorely limited. Core clock speed is 600 mhz. 2000 is a base speed for what most people expect a laptop to do for them.

Great laptop

My laptop is a MacBook Air and the remote work screen was way to small on that already small screen. I purchased this because of the price, size and quick pick up from a local Best Buy. I lasted less than 20 minutes under windows 10s and had to go to regular windows, once I did that no issues. Battery holds the charge good and it’s fast when dealing with my remote hook up. Great purchase even thought I prefer my Mac, Lenovo has never steered me wrong.

You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing slower than expected performance. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

After using it for a couple days, it started to get worse. It couldn’t load youtube well and it runs photoshop horribly. I guess the computer is good for the price you pay.
