You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If you ever need additional help with your Lenovo computer, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

I got it for my daughter for school the only reason I don’t give it a 5 stars is because it’s not compatible with google chrome.So she can’t do all her school work in the laptop because some of them requires to download google chrome and it saids it’s not compatible.

It is not super fast but it doesn’t matter because I am not playing games or working on it. Good laptop for low demand tasks, storing files, viewing PDFs, etc.

4G is just not enough

I bought it to run a single program but it really isn't capable of doing that. Lag times are between 3-10 seconds per click when the program is running, which is just not acceptable in 2021.

It works well for what it is needed, but constantly freezes up during his online meetings. He is 7 and didn't need much else.

I assumed that Zoom and Google School Meet would run. Nope. What a dog! I am the CTO at my company. I know a thing or two about computers. I feared the eMMC flash memory storage was to blame for the glacial performance. However, the disk was hardly breaking a sweat, even though the computer behaved as though was intermittently hung. Windows were taking forever to draw. Opening Windows Explorer, even, was literally a 30-second affair. Checking Performance Manager, after the kernel was idle, mind you, revealed sustained 90-100% CPU utilization! And the PC was doing literally nothing. No Windows update, no programs running, nothing except ordinary background processes. I am convinced that the CPU is the culprit, even though I have used A6 processors in the past without much incident. They aren't great mobile CPUs but I figured they would be only mildly lackluster. I was wrong. This PC cannot run Windows 10 Home properly. Be aware that I broke them out of S Mode, since that is evil. Still... Stay away.

So I have a good laptop that she can not use for school. She is stuck using my IPAD.
