If that suits your requirements why spend more ? Yes, it may seem a bit slow compared to more expensive laptops and full PC's but used within its specifications it gets the job done. For those looking for a Budget Laptop I would not hesitate to recommend this one.

Awful do not buy

Didn’t open it until it was time for school (Sept 7th), past the return date. Now we’re in week 2, the computer keeps freezing, the performance is slow and the camera is awful. Which really defeats the purpose of having it. Wished I could take it back $230 down the drain. I really wish I could take it back. Purchased on 8/8/20

I have not owned a PC for 5 years, I use Chromebooks. I bought this Laptop for one reason, to run Roon and be my Roon Core It does that great. I uninstalled & disabled everything I could so its pretty bare bones now, but as a Roon Core it works great. The screen is pretty lackluster, but what do you expect for the price.

If you want to do anything more then internet browsing or streaming then get something with a better processor and more memory. This does come with Windows in S mode, if you want to use anything that isn't on the Microsoft Store you can't unless you disable the S mode, which can not be re-enabled.

Got this on Black Friday for $120 as a gift. You can't beat that price! I purchased this same laptop on Black Friday last year. It's small and light and great for travel. It performs basic computing needs with email, web and office products without problems. Thanks.

If i could give this product a zero I would. I bought this for the simplest of tasks..... logging onto zoom, webex, and teams. cannot do this without computer freaking out and then ultimately shutting down. It took this computer 5 minutes to scroll through the list of computers on the best buy website (that now i must purchase). It wont let you browse the sites on the internet in even a semi-timely manner. Writing this review is taking forever as the script has to catch up with what i'm typing... DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE. Your phone works better and faster than this... I wish i wasnt so impulsive but i needed a new computer asap and this had good reviews.... this is an expensive typewriter and thats it... and even that is giving me grief - can't load microsoft 365... omg i could scream. .... off to pick up a $400 computer which i should have bought in the first place...DONT BE CHEAP- IT NEVER WORKS OUT FOR YOU!!! you will only be angry and want to throw this useless thing against the wall.... could have spent the 130$ on a massage....

Great laptop for stay at home schooling

It seemed to fix itself. It has an HDMI port so I was able to have the computer screen project onto my Big Screen TV for online Church Services. Overall rating, it is a good computer for the price. I purchased two of them, one for each of my kids for this at home learning.

You can keep these computers running at their best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". Nice laptop!

Most of my work is done on the phone but I also have to use the laptop to input information. This laptop is a nice size, it isn't very heavy at all. The screen is a nice size and it is bright. It runs fairly smooth for my needs but I wouldn't want to use this as an every day laptop for personal use as it seems to run a little slow sometimes.

He is e-learning at this time and the laptop had trouble keeping connected to the zoom sessions and also didn’t allow for more than one window to be open at a time without having connection issues. I think it is a great basic needs laptop for searching the internet, checking emails, etc.... We own 2 other Lenovo laptops that work great and love, one we have had for several years without any issues so will definitely purchase Lenovo products in the future, this particular one just did not meet the needs for the school e-learning.

It lags a ton and the camera barely works during the class. She can use the microphone but not the camera bc when using the camera it glitches really bad. Since those are the only things we’ve used it for so far I can’t comment on anything else, however definitely would not recommend this laptop if you need it for something that would take a lot of use.

I had problems adjusting the brightness and figured out that I had to adjust it on Video Card setting it kept dimming on me. Fixed the setting and performed was great. Not machine for hd video editing but it does everything a basic computer does. YouTube works great. 4 gigs of ram is more than I need to surf the web and Microsoft office. Viewing videos pictures and light gaming. I paid 129.00 if I use it one year it’s paid off. It’s not a MacBook Pro but it does what I want.
