Our old computer monitor doesn't have a camera and I had an old Lenovo tablet (which they no longer make) which although the picture quality wasn't the greatest; it did work. So I decided to buy a Lenovo laptop. Big mistake. According to the Geek Squad, it doesn't have enough processing speed. Had to exchange it for a Dell laptop which did. It is light weight and if you only needed to check email; I think it would work.
