Posted .Once again, thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14 Laptop. You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. Just type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If you ever need additional help with your Lenovo computer, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

Unfortunate Decision

This product is rated for the cost of $120 of the original $230 they are asking. Pros: Design (cant mess that up but what do I know) Cons: All Plastic construction (expected from a low end laptop) Keyboard Flex No Backlight Keys Screen is so bad it feels like the gamma needs adjusting Microsoft OS unusable for any task even for browsing the web 2017yr Old Gen hardware Not able to upgrade ram easily Storage not upgradable AMD A6 is a 2 core processor (is not enough power for late 2020) The issue about this laptop that I have to say is the fact that the A6 processor it has can't handle Windows OS so its practically unusable for every day tasks, and or browsing. keep in mind that even when I bought it during black Friday it was $120 on sale rather than the $230 original price and even at that I find it not worth it just because of it being too slow like opening up chrome with more than one tab open. I bought this for my brother and I understand that it isn't a laptop meant for gaming but i had to try it on this to see if it can do anything and unfortunately failed. Roblox was unplayable and Minecraft was as well. I'm honestly glad I tested this product out before giving it as a Christmas present because I would have to return this the day of and get a new one because of its performance. Basically feels like they had this laptop in storage for years and thought hey we should sell these for the original price back in 2017 and put them on sell so it seems like the consumer is getting a great deal!

Brightness completely different with plug off vs plug on. Main internet browser is IE, but I wanted Chrome.
