Not for speed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Light weight and easy to use, but very slow when loading and searching.

Decent machine for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the design. It reminds me of my old Mac Book Pro. Its not the fastest laptop, but it works well for what I use it for. Had to spend an entire day downloading updates when I first got it, which was extremely annoying, but I suppose thats more of a Windows issue than anything.

Ok for what it is
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for mostly web based tasks, found out this cpu is bottom of the barrel and you notice it as soon as you do a bunch of windows updates open apps try to install things. That said my kids use for homeschool no problem mostly just on chrome. As long as you don't need to run many apps it should work. Build quality screen quality etc is not premium at all understand it's an entry model. Battery life is great all day just open on browser.

Economical laptop if you have patience
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I guess I expected faster operation with this laptop. It seemed slow as I waited for pages to load. If I had kept it I would have had more memory installed. The processor isn't real fast, either. I ended up spending more for a 2 in 1 which will serve my needs.

Only for those on a VERY VERY TIGHT BUDGET
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unless you are on a seriously tight budget, it is not worthwhile buying at all. The only pros are that it is sleek and beautiful and can be used only for the simplest of tasks. Cons: only 4GB of Ram Additional RAM can't be added. It is slow as snail The display is just an HD Most Importantly: It is advertised as having an SSD. This is NOT the case. The box says so, the advert says so but when you set it up and check the computer specs, it says eMMC hard drive. I had to return mine and complain and I got no resolution. I ended up buying the i3. Same design but much better.

Unsure
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice lightweight laptop. It was reasonably fast the first several days i had it. However after i loaded in Ms Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, it slowed down to unexceptable. I need to stop by Bestbuy Geek Squad to see why.

Nice look/ slow process
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has a nice look however the processor is very slow. There is always an error when on the internet like it freezes. I only use it to complete school work and it slows me down a lot. When I first started to use it, it would take me at least 10-15 min for it to get it up and running. Would recommend but it depends on the use.

Lenovo 14” Ideapad
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent laptop for the money. Sometimes can be noticeable slow opening programs. However getting Microsoft Office and a brand new laptop for just a few dollars more than the Microsoft Software can cost for one year alone.

Cheap but slow
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ver inexpensive but slow. The processor is dual core, unlike some other cheap computers that have four-core processors (or so i am told). Until you do all the initial software updates it is so slow as to be unuseable. But it is otherwise serviceable, and has more storage than other budget laptops.

It will do for what I need it for.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a nice laptop but when you first get it, unpack it and turn it on you can expect it to be super slow. Unbelievably slow like dial up slow with continual freezing. I spent hours on it first updating it and then hoping that there was something I could do to make it at least as fast as my 10 year old Windows laptop. I removed any unnecessary apps. The major app that seemed to be contributing to a lot of the slowness was McAfee. I got rid of that program and was able to switch it out of S mode and installed a different security software and it was unbelievable how much faster it was. I installed the chrome browser and except for occasional freezing it seems to work for what I bought it for which was just a couple programs that will only run on Windows instead of being able to run on my Chromebook. The price point was great which was my main reason for buying it. I am giving it 3 stars because it is a nice laptop after I got it to run the way I needed it to run.

Great laptop if you k ow what you are buying
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty much everything I expected. I downgraded from Windows 11 to Windows 8.1 and it runs beautifully for what I need it for. Will be using Linux Mint just for the extra push.

Good value for money but pretty slow
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a good laptop all things considered, and for how cheap it is, but it gets really slow after a while, but it was decent quality for the price

Not recommended
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop's performance may be hindered by insufficient RAM, causing delays in multitasking and overall responsiveness. Additionally, outdated hardware and a fragmented hard drive could contribute to sluggish performance, impacting the overall user experience.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this laptop. I picked up the Lenovo Ideapad 14” and couldn’t be happier with the value. For under $150, it delivers exactly what I need: smooth performance for school, streaming, and everyday tasks. The setup was quick, and the battery life easily gets me through long study sessions without needing a charge.

I don't think they should sell this.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One year later and it's too laggy to use. I've never used it for anything other than school and taken good care of it. It takes 10 minutes to start up, and after that I'm lucky if I can get my email to load. In the beginning it was fine, but now it is barely usable. I do not reccomend this unless you need something cheap for short term use.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought to run slide shows and clips on a 70" monitor at work, it does fine doing that. Not a fast unit, but never expected it to be. Have never used for anything else.

Do not buy waste of money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very slow computer didn’t have time to sit there and wait for it to load and get all my stuff on their transferred. The computer itself felt very light, but also very flimsy would not buy it again still debating on returning it.
