Hello, JeffC. We are sorry to hear that you have encountered an issue with your IdeaPad not meeting your needs leading to you returning it. For yourself and others to know in the future, this model, along with other entry level laptops, ships with Windows 11 in S-Mode. A more secure, lighter version of the Windows 11 Operating System that only allows the downloading of applications from the Microsoft Store. If you try to launch or install an executable or .exe file, the system prevents it.
