Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15 laptop, model number 82R4002PUS. This IdeaPad 1 15 ships with Windows 11 S-Mode, 64-bit Operating System installed. Windows 11 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 11 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. Additionally, This Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15 Laptop ships with a 30-day trial of McAfee Virus Protection Software installed. It will activate automatically with the initial activation of Windows 11 and protect your computer for the 30-day trial period. You do not need to use McAfee VPS. You can uninstall McAfee and use the free Windows Defender VPS that comes with Windows 11 or you can uninstall McAfee and then install your choice of any compatible 3rd party VPS. The key is to uninstall McAfee if you will not be using it, as there can only be one active VPS on the computer at a time. The touchscreen is a nice feature but is doesn't fold 360 degrees so I haven't used it much. Overall it's a great laptop for work/school

It is very lite and has ample power and storage. Ryzen processors are always the way to go. They are cheaper and faster than Intel. I would have liked a backlit keyboard and another USB port or two, however, these issues can be easily remedied with a port replicator when it is being used at a desk. If you are in the market for any laptop, make sure you check this out!!

I researched laptops for over a week and came across this one. We bought it for our daughter for her first year college. It's got excellent speed and memory. This affordable laptop also is a touch screen and did I mention the price? My daughter's been using it for well over a month since she started a summer program at college. It has been doing what it's supposed to do and then some.

Used to have a black one and the touchpad showed finger "prints". The silver color doesn't. The 512 GB storage allows me to store all my photos and videos whereas a 256 GB wouldn't be sufficient. Love the much faster speed than my old laptop but don't know how it will compare to similar new laptops. My old laptop is 8 years old.

I have used it fairly for class work. I was primarily looking for a laptop that would run data software well such as well as handle heavy sets of data without freezing. Very happy with performance till now. An added bonus is that it is lightweight even though the size is quite large. I have been facing some glitches with finger print id and minor touch issues but overall good value for money.

Here's a tip for making your touch style fingerprint reader on power button work every time: Try lightly sliding your finger over the fingerprint reader. No need to press hard on the reader, in fact pressing hard on the fingerprint reader will distort your fingerprint and cause read errors. Regarding the touchpad, you can adjust the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 11 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. As for the touch screen of your IdeaPad 1 15, you can adjust the sensitivity of your touch screen within Windows 11. Some of the games don't really run too well but I believe that's because if the RAM. Really surprised that it came with 12 RAM anyways since most come installed with 8. Still not sure if that's upgradable but it still runs my programs well. Don't use the touch screen much and for some reason it didn't come with wifi driver installed so that was a weird but overall I'm not mad
