I’ve been very happy with this product, it’s got plenty of memory and does everything I need. It was on sale at a great price as well. I replaced a Lenovo laptop that I used for probably 15 years.

Lenovo is my go to brand and I love my ideapad flex 5, but this laptop is not as user friendly in my opinion. Maybe I'm partial to my older laptop, because I do prefer it, but this will do for its small business purposes.

The Lenovo laptop stands out for its excellent balance between performance, design, and durability. From the very first moment, you can notice the quality of its construction, featuring a modern and elegant finish that conveys solidity and professionalism. It is lightweight and easy to carry, making it ideal for both students and professionals who need mobility without sacrificing power. In terms of performance, it delivers a smooth experience thanks to its efficient processor and sufficient memory to handle multitasking without slowdowns. It is perfect for office work, online classes, internet browsing, video calls, and even light photo or video editing. The system responds quickly, and startup times are short, especially in versions equipped with a solid-state drive (SSD). The screen offers good resolution and sharp colors, allowing for comfortable use during long working hours. Additionally, the keyboard is one of its strongest features: comfortable, quiet, and well-designed—something characteristic of the brand. The touchpad is precise and makes navigation easy. The battery life is solid, providing several hours of continuous use without needing to stay connected to the charger, which is a great advantage for those who work outside the home or on the go. In summary, Lenovo offers a reliable, efficient laptop with excellent value for money. It is a highly recommended option for anyone looking for stable performance, good battery life, and a professional design without paying an excessive price.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15.6" Full HD laptop is a strong budget-friendly option that delivers reliable performance for everyday computing without unnecessary extras, making it an excellent choice for students, remote workers, or home users. Powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 7520U processor and paired with 8GB of memory, it handles common tasks like web browsing with multiple tabs, document creation, video streaming, and virtual meetings smoothly, while the 256GB SSD ensures fast boot times and quick application launches. The 15.6-inch Full HD display offers sharp text and clear visuals, ideal for productivity and media consumption, even though brightness and color accuracy are more “good enough” than premium. Its lightweight design and slim profile make it easy to carry, and battery life is strong enough to last through a typical work or school day. Connectivity is well-rounded with USB-C, USB-A, HDMI, and an SD card reader, adding flexibility for peripherals and external displays. While the plastic build and non-upgradable 8GB RAM limit long-term expandability and make it unsuitable for demanding creative work or gaming, the IdeaPad 1 excels at what it’s designed to do: provide fast, dependable everyday performance at an affordable price, all wrapped in a clean, attractive Abyss Blue design.

I bought the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15.6 Full HD Laptop specifically to handle my day-to-day business work, and overall it has been a reliable machine for that purpose. It handles emails, spreadsheets, web-based tools, and multitasking between tabs without slowing down. The Ryzen 5 processor and SSD make it feel responsive, so I’m not waiting around for things to load, which is important when I’m working on multiple tasks throughout the day. The 15.6” Full HD screen is clear and comfortable for long work sessions, and the laptop itself is lightweight enough that I can move around with it easily if I’m not working in one place all day. The 8GB of RAM is fine for business use like admin work, browsing, and cloud-based programs, but it’s not meant for heavy workloads like large video editing projects or intense software. For my needs though, it does the job well. Overall, it’s a solid, affordable laptop for running a small business or handling work-from-home tasks without any major issues.

My family recently added this Lenovo IdeaPad 1 to our home tech setup. We are primarily a Mac household, so this was a bit of a shift for us — but overall, the experience has been very positive. The laptop is lightweight and easy to carry, which makes it convenient to move around the house or toss in a bag when needed. The Full HD display is clear and comfortable for everyday use. Performance-wise, it does exactly what we need it to do. I mainly use it for emails and QA testing, and it handles both without any issues. The 256GB SSD provides plenty of storage for our daily tasks, and the 8GB of memory supports smooth multitasking for general use. It’s not meant to replace a high-powered workstation, but for everyday productivity and family use, it delivers. Overall, this laptop has been a solid addition to our home resources — practical, reliable, and efficient. No compensation received — just sharing my honest experience.

I replaced an old broken Ideapad3 with this Ideapad1. I uninstalled bloatware first...there was just a bit of it. It's a fast enough machine for web surfing and that's fine with me. I'm OK with the screen. I installed a few apps I needed. Sound, though only moderate volume, is OK with me...it's somewhat louder than the old Ideapad3. I had to edit the trackpad to not respond to certain taps that kept doing unintended opening and closing screens. The battery life and charging time is much better than the Ideapad3. Overall I like my Ideapad1.

I was looking for a good buy on a laptop and this one was a great Open Box deal. I needed a computer dedicated to running some Windows-based software for my small business, including printing invoices. This one was easy to set up and is doing its job perfectly. Can't believe how long a charge lasts! (Btw, I love the color, too.)

This is by far the best affordable laptop under $400 there is. With the Ryzen 5 and DDR5 RAM and the SSD drive is it unmatched. Ready do just about anything out of the box. College kids, gamers, home finances, web surfer, streamer, it’s all available right here at your fingertips. And all under $400. This thing actually blows some of the $750 laptops away. Highly highly recommend! Durable, portable, affordable, fast, and with quality parts that work and shouldn’t have to be replace any time soon.
