But unlike my previous one, it would show things like YouTube without insisting on a sign in with no way to sign in, and many other things refused to come on without my trying and usually failing to prove I was human. I suspect the problems with the previous one were due to some bad program downloads, but I couldn't fix them.

I immediately swapped out the hard drive and installed Linux. The touchscreen works great. However, the webcam and built in microphone aren’t the best. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to upgrade/add RAM. I really like the screen size and the keyboard (10 key is really nice to have). All in all, this is a very nice computer for the money.

I love how sleek it is and the processor speed. The only thing I don't love is that it doesn't always stay connected to the internet. But all around a great laptop and checks off all of my needs!

Regarding the internet connectivity issue, we are sorry to hear that you're experiencing this. To try to resolve this, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well for the latest network drivers.

The touchscreen works perfectly, and it's much lighter than my previous laptop. Carrying my old one around all day put a lot of stress on my shoulders, but this one is much lighter.
