Not a touchscreen

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your IdeaPad 1. We apologize for the difficulty experienced when trying to contact support, and we'd like to work with you to resolve this issue.
We recommend starting by:
Disable and re-enable HID-compliant touch screen
1. Open Start and search for Device Manager. From the list of results click Device Manager to open it.
2. When Device Manager opens go to Human Interface Devices section and expand it.
3. Under Human Interface Devices section, find HID-compliant touch screen.
4. Right click it and choose Disable. You might get asked if you’re sure that you wish to disable it, so click Yes.
5. Now right click HID-compliant touch screen again and choose Enable.
If the issue persists, continue below:
Try to check for updates via the Lenovo Vantage app:
1. Open the Start Menu and type "Lenovo Vantage" in the search.
2. Open the Vantage app and clear any dialogue windows.
3. Select the "Check for Updates" button and apply any updates the system states are available to install.
If this does not resolve the issue, then try:
Uninstalling the device.
1. Right click the HID-Compliant Touch Screen device and/or USB Touchscreen controller, select Uninstall.
2. If prompted to uninstall drivers associated with the device, check the box and continue.
3. Now, while in the Device Manager.
4. Under System devices, check if you have two entries relating to "HID, Sensor, and/or I2C"
5. Uninstall and Restart the Computer so Windows install the generic drivers for these devices.
6. If this didn't work. Try to only Uninstall/disable the USB Touchscreen controller in the "Mice and other pointing devices".

First, regarding the display misbehavior that you mentioned, could you please share details on what applications you may be using, and when this issue occurs? How frequently does this happen? Any other information you may feel relevant to this is also welcome.
With system performance, this IdeaPad is an entry-level laptop that may not be able to keep up with moderate multitasking or intensive apps and workloads. If you are not using your system under these conditions yet are not getting the performance you'd expect, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.
