The moment I powered on my Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15.6" FHD Touchscreen, AMD Ryzen 5, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD), I realized that I had made the right choice. This machine has totally exceeded all my expectations in every way — speed, looks, and utility. The light, slender frame makes it super portable, perfect for moving from my desk to the sofa or packing in a bag when traveling. The screen is responsive and silky to the touch, and the rich Full HD screen makes anything from movies to spreadsheets look amazing. Paired with the AMD Ryzen 5 processor, multitasking is a piece of cake — I can have several tabs, streaming, and documents open without any lag at all. I’m also amazed at how quiet and cool it runs, even during heavier workloads. The battery life is impressive, lasting me through long study sessions without constantly reaching for the charger. The keyboard feels comfortable for long typing sessions, and the precision touchpad is accurate and smooth. Overall, the laptop runs smoothly for the most part and has a smooth interface. However, at times the laptop will randomly freeze, closing all my tabs.

I really like the touch screen that adds an additional way of interacting with the device. The screen has decent brightness and is responsive. The battery life is about average at this level. The processor is quiet and responsive. The laptop is light but feels solid. It is a plastic build and does show fingerprints quite easily. This was a good purchase based on the sales price and replaced my aging Lenovo from 5 years ago. Here's to another 5 years with this one.

I picked up the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 looking for a budget-friendly laptop for everyday tasks like web browsing, emails, and streaming videos. For the price, it's an excellent purchase—the speed is great, the touchscreen is a very convenient feature, and the screen quality is bright and clear. It's lightweight and thin, so it's easy to carry around. However, the biggest drawback is the memory. The 8GB of RAM is soldered to the motherboard, which means it can't be upgraded. While 8GB is fine for basic multitasking right now, I know it's a limitation for future-proofing. As software and apps become more demanding, the non-upgradable RAM could become a bottleneck and slow the system down. So, if you're a student or casual user on a budget, this is a fantastic value. But if you think you'll need more power down the line, keep in mind that you're stuck with what you get

I bought this for my Business partner, I used it for about two weeks myself and feel like getting myself one. If you need an easy using laptop you can take with you anywhere, you really should get this. Runs smooth, speeds are great, Touch screen works amazingly. The best feature that most users would want is the Battery Life is soo long lasting. I have an Alienware and it wont last me more than 2 hours, this though has lasted me days on the battery alone. Will be getting myself one soon too.

My son is in 8th grade and needed his own laptop for his private school. The tech guy at Best Buy was amazing! He recommended this laptop and it's perfect! It's faster than the HP's we were looking at and way less expensive. My son loves how light it is and the larger screen. The touch screen makes his school day easier. I would highly recommend this laptop!
