      Regarding the refusal to shut down, if selecting Shut Down from the Start Menu or Login Screen will not power down the device, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.

      If after the available updates are applied and the system restarts, yet the issue persists, in-depth troubleshooting will be necessary to fix the problem. We recommend contacting Lenovo Support here: 877-453-6686, for further assistance.

    I am pleased with the Lenovo laptop I recently purchased. It is extremely responsive and loads as fast as my connection will allow which is pretty fast. I love the size of the pc and still learning the many tools this possesses. Would recommend.

    Bought an HP that had really bad graphics and awful sound. Saw this one for less than $100 more and the difference was amazing! The sound is great and the graphics are excellent. The only minus is that the battery life sucks, but that's not a biggie for me.

    I purchased this item open box but it was in excellent condition. I think it’s okay I did have to purchase a mouse to go with it bc the mouse pad is weird to work with. It also runs slow a lot but I do have a lot of tabs open i guess. I am used to my old MacBook not having any loading problems. I would recommend this to someone else it’s a nice computer overall. Oh I also hate how the speakers are on the bottom of the computer that makes no sense.

      Regarding your concern about multitasking performance, please ensure that all available updates are installed through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings. These updates may impact your device’s performance when multitasking.     This is the worst laptop I have ever used, I truly mean that I cannot believe I spent $320 total for this piece of junk. 8GB of memory is not enough with as much dumb stuff comes preloaded onto these things (applications in which you aren't allowed to remove). I use chrome 1 tab open and it crashes. "Aw, snap! Out of memory". I use Microsoft edge "Aw, snap! Out of memory'. I open my files and my computer black screens and I have to wait minutes only for me to open whatever file I wanted and for it to crash. You cannot multitask on the laptop, you cannot even single task. I think I would have been happier paying $320 for a car to hit me. Oh well

    Almost bought the wrong computer if it was not for the help of the associate. I bought this computer for my sister birthday so she would have a better one then her old one which was to slow and did not work well.

    For a basic no frills laptop no complaints. Went with this over HP on advice of store employee and no regrets. Fast. Boots quick. No bloatware. Using basic tasks so can’t comment on gaming but certainly would not buy this laptop for gaming. For what it is impressed.
