I now how two computers (the one was supposed to replace the other) but enjoy that fact as I take the one to travel and the other to work specifically at home.

Excellent choice for a college student!

It is lightweight, a great size for the backpack and easy to type and complete his work. He is able to carry it with him class to class and use it in between at the library or a cafe to complete work. Great battery life!

Battery life lasts for days with low-moderate use, super light to carry in my backpack/tote, and very durable. I had this in a lightweight duffle that I dropped at the airport, and it was totally fine afterward. I've forgotten this in my car in 80-90 degree weather several times, and it was fine. It doesn't have a ton of memory for some more robust programs, but for working in documents, it's perfect.
