Can barely run a web browser.

It takes a full minute to load a webpage, the MS edge takes minutes to open. The laptop frequently hangs and crashes webpages. You can't even browse the web on this thing. A tablet has more processing power than this laptop. I work in IT, and would not even buy this laptop for a toddler. This thing can barely run an internet browser.

We bought this machine because it was cheap. You get what you pay for! This computer is slow, glitchy and just downright difficult to use! We switched over to Mac about 8 years ago and going back to using Windows is torturous! If you need a decent, inexpensive laptop, this is definitely not it! It has been in our house for three days and it goes back today!

Within minutes of turning it on, the battery was beginning to overheat, the fan was whirring, and it was running so slow that it took a few minutes simply to load its own settings. I hadn't downloaded anything on the laptop yet, so there was really no reason for it to be doing any of that.

In order to set up the laptop you need to connect to the internet and the wifi driver is not set up. After connecting the adapter to my router, setup worked fine.

But now? This laptop cant even complete simple functions its just ridiculous. Every other minute something gliches and its not responding or closes automatically. If it does eventually load, it’ll take an insane amount of time. I don’t recommend getting this.

His main problem with his old one was the speed of start up and reading the hard drive. With the ssd he loves it. And it was on the cheaper side which works out since he really just uses it for emails and reading news.
