Terrible Battery Life, Great Otherwise

If you are lucky enough to get more than 2-3 hours, it seems you'll be in the minority. I'm usually plugged-in while working from home. The few times I've forgotten to turn on the surge suppressor, I've gotten about 2-2.5 hours of light work before this laptop is about to die. Otherwise, the screen, full keyboard, numerous ports, etc. are great. Boot up is so fast, I still have to wait for the Wi-Fi to connect after loading browsers. I also wish the SD slot was fully within the case; not how half the card sticks out. This will be an issue when travelling. If I can upgrade the battery w/o voiding warranty or Geek Squad protection, I will. (Formerly an HP Spectre 15 user.)
