I did not purchase insurance for the laptop at Best Buy but I thought, no problem because it had a warranty. I must have called Lenovo 20 times to NO AVAIL!!!! I emailed them to NO AVAIL!!! I completely lost my money. I would NEVER purchase ANYTHING from Lenovo EVER and I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!

We recommend you check with the game publisher to be sure that the games are compatible with Windows 10, then check the minimum/recommended requirements for hardware to play the games, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.

Scumbag move.... I know. Well, it's been about a week now and I must say, Lenovo's created something amazing. As expected, they've been very clever with the industrial design. The keyboard is excellent and thoughtfully laid out. The plastic chassis is sturdy, and the hinge does not feel cheap. The guts of this laptop are identical to an Intel Compute Stick. So expect decent performance for everyday tasks, and even some light gaming. If you have a kid who loves Minecraft, this is perfect for them. Pros: Build Quality Keyboard No Pre-Installed Bloatware Battery Life (8-10 hours) Windows 10 (Not handicapped like a Chromebook) Bluetooth connectivity Cons: Track pad feels cheap. Monitor has poor viewing angles. Windows Updates are painfully slow, regardless of internet speed. 5-6 hour charge time. I don't write reviews often, but this laptop deserved it. I went from viewing this laptop as a cheap 2 week rental, to something I can't see myself without. Well done Lenovo, you've really created something that's more than the sum of its parts.

Windows does not come preinstalled with software to open all attachments. Add the proper software to open the attachments you are having trouble opening.,

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 100s. We are sorry to hear of the issues you are having with your system. This system is equipped with the OneKey Recovery system. There is a very small button above the keyboard, near the screen, on the left side. Press this button and the system will boot to a selection screen where you can choose to boot to your desktop (normal boot) or restore to factory default. Select restore to factory default. This will take you back to the beginning, they way the system was factory built. All of your programs will be deleted. You will need to reinstall them, but your system should be repaired.

I own an HP but needed something much more light and portable. I was genuinely surprised by how fast and quick this computer runs. However, with that being said, I only use it to type papers and browse the web in between classes. I recommend this to anybody seeking a basic laptop to use from time to time or a first laptop. Furthermore, if someone is seeking an accessible laptop that is easily portable and lightweight you are looking in the right place! I am super happy with the quality product I got for the price!! :)
