If you want something blazing fast, this would not be the one to get. However, if you want it for your kid to use strictly for school assignments with basic web and Google Docs use, this works perfectly fine. I installed Kaspersky Total Security and blocked social sites, etc. so it would be used only for school work and it still runs well enough for its purpose.
