If your system is running slow, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. After only a couple of weeks of having these laptops, the keyboard stopped working. We researched online for all sorts of ways to get it working again and nothing helped. We eventually had to take a brand new laptop to best buy to have it fixed. Now i know what you're thinking... small kid... maybe the kid did something, right? in this case their mom was there each time they used the laptop to make sure they got on the correct school app's for studying and working on classwork. She didn't notice that our older son did anything wrong to cause damage to it. Both laptops are always put away and stored in a safe place so it had nothing to do with anyone mishandling the laptop. The laptop is great for a small child and not an adult who wants to maneuver around a variety of things multi tasking and having up various apps. I would recommend that if you are looking for something outside of internet browsing that you purchase a different laptop. It so far has not been worth the price.
