I didn't intend to buy a new laptop this year but it was so affordable and I really did need a new laptop so I got it. I was also glad that It came with a Free download of Security software.

Cheap laptop

The build quality is great, the mouse pad is top notch, better than some more expensive laptops. It does have huge limitations, included memory is 30gb which is almost full the first time you turn it on. I started a windows update and automatically it wasn't able to do so because it was out of storage space. Bought a SD card to have space to maneuver and finally did. Once updated this pc is great for what I think it's intended for, word processing, light web surfing, checking email etc. Won't get any processor intensive work done with this (gaming, video editing, etc). This definitely can't be your primary PC, but it's an excellent one at what it's intended for.

It has basic memory, but is very useful, light, and cheap for what she needed for teaching. If you are looking for something to do more I would buy one with more memory.

She can also use a USB Flash Drive with this device for storing additional files as well.

The speakers are not so great but it has blue tooth connectivity so you can connect your own device. If you perform too many tasks at once it will run a bit slower.

If you want to play game or do heavy computer stuff then I won’t recommend getting this Lenovo. However, it’s great to surf the web and do homework.

The machine is pretty responsive -- Good job, Lenovo, much better than the Lenovo Flex 2 I bought. That machine clearly see the action lagging and slow response to events
