    Bad Laptop.. Do not buy!

I bought this laptop & return it the same day. This laptop has only 2GB of RAM! & it runs Windows 10 (Which requires between 2GB & 3.8GB to run)! Therefore, this laptop will process your job very very very slow! If you read the description is says "Enough high-bandwidth RAM to meet the system requirements and run basic programs, but not many at once!". My advice if you are looking for a fast laptop go for 8GB RAM; it is $150-$200 more but it is worth specially for those doing many processes at the same time.

I bought this laptop for school because being a student, I need a laptop on a tight budget. I have owned Lenovos before and they were great, but this computer is just awful. Just going to my school account and trying to open different web browsers is a pain. This computer runs incredibly slow and I wish I would have spent $150 more and gotten something better since I will have to replace this one since it runs too slow.

According to Microsoft Support, you can use an external hard drive when downloading Windows 10 updates for the needed temporary files. Be sure the external hard drive you use is formatted NTFS format to accept the larger file size used by Windows 10 operating system. Here is a link to an explanation:

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS

It doesn't matter how inexpensive this is, the 32 GB storage will lead to a laptop that does not work. Windows needs at least 8 GB to do updates, and Windows itself is nearly large enough to take up all but 8 GB. This laptop, in addition to being much slower than you would think, cannot receive Windows updates, so it is a security risk. I have now learned the hard way not to buy a Windows computer with only 32 GB of storage. A Geek Squad employee even told me no one should buy these. Avoid!

This should not be on the market at any price. The built in memory is too small to have more than 1 or 2 websites open and it can barely run basic programs without getting out of memory issues. You have to plug a thumb drive in for it to make the basic updates to the system because the built ins can't manage it. My 3 year old Chrome book is faster for internet surfing. This was a waste of money and Lenova should not sell this junk. Had to got buy another computer that worked.

I bought this pc with the intention of using it for school work and minimal research on the internet. Brand new out of the box the computer uses 100% of its processing power with no programs open other then task manager. Additionally only 300 megs of the 2gb ram were left unused AT IDLE. I wasn't expecting a lot when I purchased this due to its awful specs but the execution is even worse. 0/5

I just picked this up today at my local bestbuy and it’s awful . I got everything set up and installed the virus protector that I bought with it . I then tried to login and watch Netflix . The only thing I had running was Netflix and it was so slow that every minute or so it had to reload and the frames are skipping every few seconds . I will be returning this to the store and finding an alternative . 10/10 Would NOT recommend

Garbage! I have owned many computers, and this is the worst! Computer is very slow, and combined with multiple bugs with Windows 10 OS, you will spend most of your time searching the web trying to fix bugs, and trying to figure out why many things will not work. Computer memory is tiny, a joke. This is a good computer for a theething infant,, so they can chew on the corners of it.

Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you receive a free 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 with this system. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. This isn't directed at Best Buy for selling it. This review is toward Lenovo for such a terribly developed computer. It states a 32Gig HD but really is 29Gig, almost 20Gig is taken up by the preinstalled OS and other apps. The last Windows update needed 8Gig of space to download and install, I had to uninstall everything I put on this machine and as much of the other stuff that came factory installed as I could and I still can't make enough space to run the update. I'll either have to start loading off and sd or flash drive to make space or just dump Windows all together and install Ubuntu which is about a fourth of the size. So although the price point pulls you in, don't waste your money on this computer!

Worthless. The extremely small storage capacity combined with the fact that Microsoft now does a full windows update as opposed to an incremental update makes this machine worthless. The latest Windows update requires 8GB of available space and this machine has approximately 2GB right out of the box with no other apps installed. Bottom line, you cannot even update this machine to a current safe level, much less install any additional programs. For the money, you'd be better off with a Chromebook.

Then on day 2 it locked up completely. I had to shut it off and turn it back on three times before the screen came back on. Before that it was just the cursor on a black screen. I'm extremely disappointed and won't buy this brand again.
