I recently bought this laptop in Feb 2017 for my daughter's 15th Birthday. My daughter loves her laptop. She uses it for school and other things. I'm bought another for my other daughter's bday too!

I purchased this item on Feb. 3, 2017. It is now March 10, 2017. After functioning extremely slowly, and me using it about once a week, it has simply stopped working. First it froze entirely. Mouse wouldn't work. Keyboard wouldn't work. I had to turn it off manually. Now its light will turn on, but the screen remains completely black. I've seen Lenovo Product Expert replies to reviews like mine that say to use the One-Key Restore. I tried that. It does the exact same thing. Black screen. No other response. This product is horrible and I sincerely regret purchasing it.

I enjoy all of these products I have bought. They are not only great for school but also great to use in the "real world", I would totally recommend.

It maybe small but it works just as good as a bigger laptop. This is my daughters first year in college and it is great for her. She has a flash drive if she needs extra space. Works for me.

I purchased two of these for my kids. They are okay for what they use them for. Which is school work. They don't play games in the laptops, so I don't know how they will perform for games.

Too slow for my needs. Needed a simple laptop to work from home. Only used maybe twice before I gave up. Extremely slow when using the web.

I bought this laptop to replace my previous Toshiba Chromebook which unfortunately got infected with a virus. I don't use often, maybe once a week. This seems to be a very basic laptop, but does what I need it to, so I am satisfied with it.

I am an online student and my computer went "kaput". My son recommended I go to Best Buy. The service rep was very helpful and really assisted me in making the right choice for my needs.

Very happy with purchase. Lenovo laptop works great for my needs. The laptop is responsive and easy to get up and going quickly. I bought on a discount, so I love the price I paid too.

When the OS can’t update because it already takes up 90% of the memory there is a problem. Not for use with full windows 10! ... 64gb is the minimum in my opinion.

This laptop fit all my needs. I wanted something not too pricy and met my standards both appearance wise and memory wise. It was a gift for my wife and she couldn't be more happier! 10/10

I have a Lenovo yoga laptop an I am very happy with it. Bought the Lenovo table and it was a bad decision... very slow to move from one screen to another and complicate on the setting.

I bought this for my 8 year old as her 1st laptop and it’s been amazing! I have a very happy Child! No connection issues or is not as slow as I anticipated from other reviews!!

I bought this laptop for my son who is entering 10th grade. So far he's using it to play games and go on social media etc. He said he loves the laptop. This purchase was a success!

I needed a home laptop that had an up to date operating system simular to my work computer. The Ideapad did and with Onedrive I can access both my home and work files from this machine.

Please note that my low rating of this product is not a criticism of the computer itself - with the exception of the hard drive (more on that in a minute) I have no complaints about the hardware, and i really enjoy how easy this computer is to type on due to it's large, well-spaced keys - But I have come to the conclusion that Windows 10 can turn any computer into a buggy, glitchy pile of junk in a matter of months. I say this because I bought this laptop only to run Microsoft Office apps and to occasionally do e-mail and surf the web. I have not installed any other apps on this computer, and I haven't even used it that much, but after a few Windows 10 updates it now boots up slower, runs slower, occasionally freezes and takes longer to shut down than my old computer, which my kids had installed all kinds of resource-sapping junk on, and which is also infected with Windows 10. And here's what REALLY annoys me: Microsoft keeps sending me notifications that I need to install the latest Windows 10 Security update - Which requires 10 GIGABYTES of hard-disk space - and now says that Microsoft product support will end for Windows 10 unless I install the next System Update before April 6, which requires 6 GB of drive space. This poses a huge problem on several levels, and here's why: First off, even though this computer is advertised as having a 32GB hard drive, the actual capacity of the hard drive is closer to 28 GB according to File Explorer. Second, with no other apps installed, 24 GB of that drive space is taken up by Windows all by itself. If you haven't done the math, that means there is 4 GB of free HD space. I installed a 64GB MicroSD card in the memory slot, but Windows will not let me download the updates to it. So, unless I am misunderstanding something, it's impossible to upgrade this computer to the standard Microsoft requires to continue offering support for their already unsatisfactory product. This, on a product that is less than one year old! I am SO done with Windows. Next time, it's a Chromebook (or a Mac) for sure.

I love this item because it allows me to to store all of my writing and music and the windows 10 program is simple to use. I even purchased one for my fourteen year old granddaughter.

My wife needs something bigger than a phone to acces internet in class, but didn't want to lug around her full laptop. This is not the most capable computer but perfect for her need.

Got this on Deal of the Day for my 12 year old niece!! She loves it!! She had a Chromebook previously but that has Chrome OS. This one has Windows 10. More options with this one!!

This is a great product for a younger child.My 6 year old sister loves it and the apps to link directly to Youtube makes everyones life easier. My mom loves the parental controls.
