Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Lenovo 110s is a steal for the price. Sure, there are better laptops -- but they cost a LOT more. If you need raw horsepower to play state of the art games, or edit video the 110s probably isn't the laptop for you. But, if your needs are more modest, this laptop really delivers. Many reviewers say this a good laptop for beginners. I take a different view. I believe the Lenovo 110s is ideally suited for a more experienced user, someone who knows how to manage its resources effectively. In particular, you need to know how to effectively manage the 32 gb of storage, how to keep the operating system up-to-date, and running smoothly. I have eliminated all pre-installed apps that I don't need. Most of my user-installed apps are "portable apps" installed on a micro-sd card. All my documents are stored on the micro-sd card as well. I promptly install all Windows updates and run the Disk Cleanup utility afterwards. In short, if you know how to keep your Lenovo "lean and mean" it will give you great service. Mine boots quickly and gives me reliable, snappy performance. I couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended!

As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. I have an appointment with the Geek Squad on Sunday to see what's wrong. It means a 90 mile round trip that I didn't want or need, so I'm not very impressed with this laptop and at this point I wouldn't recommend it to an enemy.

With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

The first 2 weeks it worked fine but then soon after it started doing all kinds of funky stuff. I only purchased it for $120, which should have been a sign.
