This is not a very good pruduct. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my 16 year old. She had it less than 30 days! Mouse is not working. Your return policy is for 2 weeks! It should be 30 days!! Especially for electronics!!

I bought this device for my niece as a graduation gift. 3-months following purchase, the thing went blank. It would work when it wanted too. It's cheap, unreliable and so not worth your time and money.

    A Good Buy

I bought this a little over a week ago and have been really enjoying it. It does have it's pluses and minuses, but I am very happy with it. If you are looking for a system to do heavy gaming and/or using programs that require a lot of storage or memory, then skip this product as it is not designed for it. If you are looking for a netbook for doing many basic things like emailing, browsing, word processing, podcasting, watching Netflix, streaming videos and other stuff, this would be a great buy. The one thing that you want to do when you buy it, is to buy a MicroSD card, as it has a lack of storage. I found that after installing the programs that I planned on using with it, I had very little room left to put the files I would of been using After I bought and put in the card, things have been great. It doesn't come with a lot of bloatware, and the odds are that you won't be removing any of it, as Lenovo made some great choices. The netbook is light and very easy to carry around, and would be great for any student or traveler who needs something that is portable. The camera is not great, and the speakers are on the bottom and don't produce great sound, so you should also get yourself some headphones if you will be listening to music or other stuff with sound. It would be great if it came in different colors, but get a marker and make yours look unique.

I have had this computer for a few months. Probably used it a total of 10 full hours. The mouse completely stopped working. No drops, no nothing. Just a poorly made Lenovo.

This is not a common problem with this device. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the top left side of the keyboard, right near the left hinge on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. lenovo

This is an entry level, light use system. It uses Windows 10 Home 32-Bit as its operating system, which requires less than 1GB of RAM to run. There is a 32GB solid state hard drive for quick boot up and quick loading of programs and files. This device has the latest WiFi capability, with 802.11AC connectivity. It comes with a free 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365. If your requirements fit this profile, this device is a good choice. lenovo

Good Performance, just needs some TLC

I was debating between this and the Samsung equivalent Chromebook. I chose this mostly because there's a lot of programs I use that I can't get on a Chromebook. I should also note, this version of Win10 is not the stripped down version that's locked to the Windows store and the Edge browser, so that's a big plus. The machine at first was extremely sluggish, sometimes things took upwards of 6-9 seconds to register, and that was with almost nothing open. However once I removed the intel and lenovo bloatware (you absolutely should remove the lenovo software, there's a lot of security issues with it, just look it up), and turned off a couple unnecessary windows features that were bogging the system down the performance was night and day. If you buy this you're going to want to clean it up otherwise you're very likely to get frustrated with it's performance and the lag you'll get due to how they configure it and all the junk software they install on it. I would only recommend this item to a friend after explicitly informing them of the performance issue dues to the bloatware and instructed them how to resolve these issues. There's a good little laptop under the exterior, you just gotta help it out of it's shell. All said, it's a good product, especially for $129. Probably won't find anything better at that price point. If it were 199 I'd have gone for another option most likely.
