After being dissatisfied with higher-end Windows computers like the Surface and an Acer, I decided to save some dollars and pick this up for google docs and drive and such, and to watch videos with my breakfast. It is suitable for none of these tasks, and often took in upwards of a full minute to load even light webpages. And this was after installing updates. I've never returned anything so definitively in my life. It does play Undertale, though, so that's a good thing.

Great start for my girl as her own laptop ! Awesome deal too here at Best Buy compared to others ...already has windows 10 and 6 mos anti virus for free plus Microsoft 365 for a year trial offer . Easy keyboard use. Great trusted brand Lenovo too should last for a long time ! Already recommended to friends !

My 1st Lenovo purchase. The craftsmanship of this little computer is great. The white casing is classy looking, a very solid feel and really good specs for the price. The power button is made of chrome! As indicated in the specs, not a great deal of hard drive space, thus you'll need a portable pin drive to use mostly for file storage. This computer is probably mostly suited to browse online and check/respond to emails. This computer comes with 1 year/Microsoft Office! The sweetest deal ever! I know the specs say 'Stereo Speakers', but I can't comment on them any further just yet. Reiterating, you can go wrong with this wonderful little, economical computer.

I like this machine, coming from a $1000 HP that lasted 2 years before the hinges bit by bit disintegrated and the screen was just flopping around. The keyboard feel is infinitely better than that high-end HP ever was. Of course the performance lags a bit compared to the higher powered HP but is really adequate for my needs. My only real issue isn't an issue at all with the actual laptop, it's Windows 10, this is the WORST operating system ever, advertisements on the login screen? An all time low.

I won't repeat all the obvious pros and cons already detailed here. My rating is lower than it would have been due to the two issues below. Be aware that the trackpad may be defective. My first sample's trackpad was reluctant to sense a tap and did not follow my finger accurately. If you buy one of these, be sure to try out the trackpad in the store before you take it home. I exchanged the defective one for another, which works fine. Also, one of the specs is off significantly. The listed weight is 2.2 lbs. Mine measured 2.41 lbs. This make the weight just short of 10% greater than specified.

First I thought that this laptop would be bad, since the demo model in the store had no functioning mouse. I realized that someone might have broken it, since it's been there for a long time. Now that I purchased it, the update took a very long time. After though, the laptop ran really well and installed some of the applications. There is only one problem-- Windows Store downloads REALLY slowly, it's been 10 minutes, it's still remaining at 0.10kb, but overall this is a great and fast device. I tried a game of ROBLOX, and it's a 7/10 relative to a laptop like the MacBook Air.

The speed is pretty fast for me. And just the right size to carry around.

Nice basic laptop to have to take-along. I also have a Lenovo Flex 2 and never had any issues with it - so I went with Lenovo again. Cool little machine and the build quality is great,

Not a half bad little laptop, This is good all around, but I feel the mouse could be better. You really can't expect a lot from a cheap laptop, and this works out great.

I purchased this for my 1st and 2nd grader to do homework on. It seems that now a days,they have to access multiple websites and complete assignments as part of their homework( how times have changed!) It's small for adult standards,but seems fitting for children. I don't plan on letting them download stuff so I can't say much as far as that goes. Over all it was a great buy for my intended purpose.

Not one positive thing can be said about this Ideapad. I was initially hesitant to purchase this item but after reading the reviews and seeing that so many users recommended it, I decided to give it a try - especially considering the promotional price that was being offered at the time. I quickly regretted my decision as I discovered that the Ideapad could not even support the most basic web browsing without coming to a screeching halt. I was looking for a supplementary laptop specifically for email, surfing, etc. - the bare minimum. It did none of those things at a remotely acceptable speed. Additionally, the battery life is absolutely not as advertised. It has essentially been permanently plugged in as the battery seems to last no longer than 2 hours. Also, the touchpad lacks adequate sensitivity for smooth scrolling, or scrolling at all for that matter. I end up having to use either a mouse or the directional arrows to navigate a page. Perhaps my unit was faulty considering all the positive feedback from other satisfied consumers but my advice - spend a little more and invest in actually functional technology.

This computer worked great for our situation and fit perfectly into our briefcase.

Bought this computer in March or April 2016 and August 2016 went to repair because the case holding the screen was coming apart. It was fixed and shipped back and December 2016 or earlier the charge connection will not stay connected to recharge the computer and I am constantly moving it around to get a connection and I am constantly loosing internet connection.

The 100s model was good but this newer model (110s) is even better.

This laptop is fast. Very fast. Mostly due to ssd drive. While small it shouldn't slow a student now since most schools use an online drive to store documents etc. the price is an absolute bargain. Don't bother with getting a service plan since at $169 it's essentially a replaceable commodity. Think about it - your smartphone is likely $600-$900.

Nice little laptop. My main beef if that the 32gb on the SSD is way too little. I took the base system and installed Norton Anti-Virus (~800mb), Firefox (~85mb) and Thunderbird e-mail reader (~85mb). That's it for apps. I've done a couple of Microsoft Windows 10 updates too. I now have < 3gb of storage left, even after pruning all of the junk I don't use (games, etc). The recent Windows 10 Creator upgrade is telling me it needs 8gb of free SSD space to install itself. After 3-4 weeks of ownership, I'm now hosed: too little free disk space to do the first major Windows 10 upgrade. I wanted this little box to do basic e-mail/web browsing when away from home, but it's not fit for even that when the operating system is permanently out of date right from the start because of too little disk space. Lenovo should have installed a 64gb SSD for an extra $20 on the sales price.

This was actually a nice little computer for web surfing, paying bills and the like. However, after two weeks the screen went completely out. A trip to the Geek Squad confirmed it looked to be a monitor issue. Returned it and went with another brand that is working fine.

I am so upset. I just bought this laptop today, and within six hours of having it....the screen goes black. I try control,alt, and delete even that didn't help. I had to log out and then log in because I couldn't exit out of any program.i had to do this about 4 times within the last hour. I thought it was just me, so I googled it and others had the same issue. so I will be returning this brand back to the store tomorrow. the thing is, I actually liked the computer up until that point. I wsn't sure about the brand when I first looked at it, but because of the price, I got it, gave it a chance

My husband bought this laptop for surfing and some light writing. We returned the laptop within 2 days because the lagging was so bad and the keyboard was not very responsive. Didn't even come close to meeting his needs.

Go into Properties for sounds/speaker. For Playback, find the Enhancement Tab. Find Equalizer. Change setting to Powerful. Bingo. Tons more volume. Like night and day. PS: Paid $ 109.99 last week. Awesome machine for the price.
