Great starter laptop for a child

One is going into Junior High and the other is wrapping up elementary school. However even at this age a laptop is now required standard equipment. These are very simple, and have great battery life, can still be used as a Chrome Book for school plus much more since it is Windows 10.

It does a decent job with 20+ tabs open, running YouTube and other dense webpages. Sometimes it gets a little slow and you have to shut down your web browser to clear everything out and it goes back to normal. Be sure to get a micro sd if you plan on downloading anything because you only get a few gb of available space.

good entry level computer

It was on sale for about $160 so the price was right. It's her first computer and she uses it for schoolwork and it has worked well so far. As a first computer it's fine, but the 2 GB of RAM could be a problem for anyone who does serious number crunching or gaming.

Lenovo was a reputable brand and a keyboard was a huge factor. Not much memory space, but mainly use this for traveling to answer emails and go on social media. Not meant to store pictures. Very happy with this purchase.
