An excellent laptop minus the slow load-up time of some of the larger PCs. Loving the Google Chrome as well!

It's a nice laptop for a teenager or an individual who only need to check emais or surf web. The storage space is very limited and you need to delete apps or programs to reset the laptop. The volume quality is poor as well as the picture. Microsoft wants too much control over the pc. Be very careful if you a private person. Cortana is a snoop always giving suggestions and can't be permanently deleted. Only, disabled but it still popping up for permission.

This is a great laptop for someone looking for a compact laptop and not looking to spend alot of money. Performance was what I expected, the laptop does not have any issues running one instance of chrome, edge, MS office, word, powerpoint or excel. However you should not plan to run multiple applications at the same time or you will see a noticeable performance hit.

Was very leery about buying a new computer since I'm not very computer savvy and my last one 6 or 7 years ago was a nightmare to set up. This was a piece of cake! Really, very easy and I'm just thrilled with it. What a difference in technology. I had Windows 7 and heard Windows 10 would be another nightmare!! NOT SO! Start up was easy and so far no problems.
Happy User

I bought this laptop solely to be able to run a Windows program that was unavailable for Macs. Discounted to just over $120 at Best Buy the purchase was a no brainer. Best of all it is fully functional, runs Windows 10, has relatively long battery life, and works just fine for surfing the web, reading email, etc. Plus, the 64GB micro sd card that I had kicking around slipped right in significantly expanding its 32 GB on board flash storage.

This is my first tablet This is my first time purchasing an open box Lenovo product, I purchased this laptop for myself and a 14 inch lenovo laptop to replaced my daughter's broke laptop. I was suprised by how easy it was to use without a mouse (bought a mouse later on; unable to get used to using my hand as mouse). This is a good product to be an open box.

Works great. Like the hard shell for the kids. 32GB is not really enough for Win10 and pictures/movie/etc. best for a tablet, not for a laptop.

If it's on sale & you want a portable linux option

I bought this because I wanted a cheap little computer I could take wherever to do some basic coding. Something I could just throw in a bag and take with me (unlike my beloved Mac). This was on sale for just over $100, I'm not sure I'd pay more than $150 for this.
I ran windows on it for all of like 20 minutes and it was a miserable experience. If you want to run a cumbersome awful operating system like that, get something else. This machine will be painfully slow. On top of that the windows updates (upon starting it) literally took up the ENTIRE hard drive. So, if you want windows you already have 0 space left in your hard drive and you don't have enough RAM to run it. If on the other hand you want to run linux, this can work. It's still not fast by any means, but it's acceptable. It's not robust, I can't have a bunch of tabs open on chrome while running other stuff, but for running and testing scripts, doing basic programming, and basic web surfing, and a bit of word processing... while being cheap enough that I don't care if something happens? This is awesome, especially for $110 (open box) but I would have bought it for $130 (the sale price I intended to buy it for). Aside from that, the screen is cheap (think late 90's laptop) and the keyboard is cheap (the "]" key is so sensitive it will activate w the weight of a hair), but thats to be expected. This is a cheap computer. Between trying to run linux on a Chromebook or installing it on here though, I'd go with this for sure. To reiterate though, running windows on this machine would be masochistic (also windows is literally the worst operating system).
